Let's do this. Welcome everybody to another episode of the Game of Travel Show. I'm your host, Mike Samson, too with my co host! Sipia Mason, how you doing today? Everybody, get off Mr. Amazon. We're gonna talk about Xbox being eliminated from other stores other than Costco, Mr. Mason. Damn! Well, they won't tell himself. The Mighty of Fallen, Mr. Amazon. We also talk about a new movie starring one of the greatest comedians of all time documentary on himself. Eddie Murphy. How do you know about that? It's been on Netflix. What, this year? Um, no, 2030. Yeah, yeah. But we begin today's show. Talk about Mr. Mason. Battlefood came out, Mr. Mason, kicking ass, Mr. Amazon. Battlefield has sold in three days. One, two, three days. Uno dos race. Three days. Guess how many copies, Mr. Mason? Three days, I'm gonna guess uh surpass a million. Million times seven. Look at here. So that much. Seven million copies in the first three days. A new franchise record, Mr. Amazon. Steam was a top-selling platform where it sold 3.5 million copies. The rest was sold on the Xbox and the PlayStation 5, Mr. Amazon. So the 7 million copies in total is an all-time record for Battlefield, Mr. Amazon.
SPEAKER_02:Impressive.
SPEAKER_01:Mr. Mayor was funny about that. I think it wasn't that good though, from what I'm understanding. The campaign is not didn't get rated that good, but if you look at Metacritic, it is an 83 and Metacritic user 77. So bad. It's still in people on Steam playing the game, man, Mr. Amazon. So it's doing pretty well. And the rev total revenue just for those three days, Mr. Amazon, is over$350 million.
SPEAKER_02:Okay, okay.
SPEAKER_01:So it's kicking buttons and taking names. And if we look at the previous Battlefield sales, and we look at Battlefield 1, so over 25 million lifetime sales, Mr. Amazon. Battlefield 3 sold 17 million lifetime million sales. Oh, damn. I mean, lifetime, 17 million lifetime series sales. The number's just gonna surpass that then. Battlefield 4, what's one of my Cobra still playing? Sold over 14 million copies. The lifetime sales of it, you know, so.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah. Also, this is gonna probably double those sales.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, so that's just an example of Battlefield lifetime sale for the series games.
SPEAKER_02:Are you gonna get it though? Because I remember, didn't we have a conversation at the show where you talk about the game was doodle?
SPEAKER_01:I didn't say you did tell me. I told you that. I didn't tell you on the show. Okay. I didn't say it was doodle. I said the campaign was not what I thought was gonna be. You don't like getting no more because this game, the radio is not as good. Those were your words. Yeah, I did I did say that. I did say that. Did I say doodle? No, I said it's ass. You pretty much all right, same thing. So, but I know. But um, but like I said, me and you, we don't play those type of games on a regular basis. We don't have the time. I did play, I did play the beta. I did play the beta. What did you think about it? I'm not good. That's what I gotta think about. I'm not good.
SPEAKER_03:Okay.
SPEAKER_01:I was leader of the squad. Some reason the squad did well better, did well better what I might need and need my help. But we won. But no one's not next, not not thanks to you. No, not that. I know what if if I if I was to buy the game, you know who I'm gonna be? The medic. I'm not the medic. I could do the medic part. I can save people, patch them up, Mr. Mason. But otherwise, that, nah, I'll be the medic. Fair enough. What do you think, Mr. Mason? If this will would this game score higher than bat uh than Black Ops that's coming out?
SPEAKER_02:Hell no. I don't score.
SPEAKER_01:Score higher.
SPEAKER_02:I don't think so. You don't think so? I don't think so. Maybe you just said it's eight point, what you said?
SPEAKER_01:Metacritic is 83. User user rating is 77.
SPEAKER_02:Those are fair numbers, actually, but I still think those are better than Black Ops.
SPEAKER_01:I just think. But remember, a lot of people gave the thumbs down on Black Ops when they saw the trailer for it.
SPEAKER_02:Which is true. But seeing the trailer and having in your hands are two different things. Like. You know what? Maybe in the metric, in the gamer metric uh system, it might do better. But I think overall sales, Call of Duty's gonna win. Oh, Call of Duty's gonna still win. Yeah. So it might. Let me not say that. It might. It might. I shouldn't say that.
SPEAKER_01:That's why I say call do we think black ops, I mean, do you think Battlefield's gonna be Black Ops sales? No, I don't think so. But I think people waive something different other than playing Black Ops all the time. Of course, it's gonna be a good one. As a military shooter. Of course.
SPEAKER_02:It's definitely good to have options. I mean, Blackout 7 is in about what, three weeks?
SPEAKER_01:Yes.
SPEAKER_02:We'll find out. We'll find out. But uh it's a possibility. But does that matter at the end of the day when you made your money? Does that matter, Michael? Nope. So at the end of the day, Call of Duty wins regardless, yo.
SPEAKER_01:I see your point, Mr. Activision wins again. Fontality? Will it be a fatality? You think it'd be a fatality? Like a beatdown this time. Cell wise, or you're talking about Cellwise.
SPEAKER_02:You know what? I'm gonna say no. I do think they're gonna have better numbers, but I think from what I'm going basically, because you know, metric does count. Because the game is good, people keep playing it, and then word of mouth, it goes out, more people plays it. So I'm gonna say no, but uh they're not gonna win the sales uh battle, but black ops would be known, like, yo, that's a good game, so you should play that. And and you're happy with I get both.
SPEAKER_01:So I think it might my prediction for sales overall, probably 16 million for the black ops.
SPEAKER_02:I mean for the Battlefield.
SPEAKER_01:Battlefield? Yeah.
SPEAKER_02:I think that's low, actually. You think it'd be higher than that? Yeah, because if you the ones you named were at that rate. Well, Chris. And then this one is it's a way better game than the pride too that you just named. I think the sales will be better than that. 20 million? I think pushing it. I think pushing 20.
SPEAKER_01:What do you mean by pushing? I would say maybe like 18 and a half. Do like price white people say, oh,$18.$80 and one cent to get that. Come on. So um Guy said$16 million, you say 18 and a half. Yeah. So basically, we're almost in the same way.
SPEAKER_02:I'm I'm leaning more towards 20. Okay, but 20. You're you're you're like a a quarter from getting to that 20.
SPEAKER_01:Okay. All right, anything else you want to say about that?
SPEAKER_02:Wait, so wait, just wait. When did Battlefield come out? That came out in the first week in October. In October, right? Yeah. The numbers are high then. Yeah, no, definitely get close to 20, I think. But 7 mil at this point? We're not even a month in. So yeah, definitely think we'll get close to 18 and a half.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, so we'll see. All right, Mr. Mason. Only one who's reached that close or has made that, we'll say, is Battlefield 3. 70 million total sales, and battlefield one, it's sold 25 million. After that, it's been ghosts. It's been ghost. Well, based on the metrics, this should be up there. So I think 18.5 is fair.
SPEAKER_03:Okay.
SPEAKER_01:I I think you I think that's a good answer. I think it should be sweet. If it does 25 million, that's very good. Oh, that's very good.
SPEAKER_02:If it does 25 million, then you might start talking about this game might be close to Call of Duty. Yeah, so I'm gonna say Mike, because I don't get come back and should apologize to people.
SPEAKER_01:I mean, to be honest, could Call of Duty, like I said, Call of Duty campaigns are not bad. Oh yeah, I was short. I was short, and I was home I was home in Battlefield have a good campaign. Yeah. Because my thing, I play mostly, I would play the campaign. I'll I will dabble in the uh online game. But with Battlefield, I could play the campaign and the zombie mode. Which I like.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, I'm always a campaign guy. Like I haven't played the war games in so long, Call of Duty back. I haven't played in so long. But when I towards the end of 10 of the tell them, end of them playing game, I was doing mostly campaign players.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, I remember we used to play Battlefield back in the days. Not Battlefield, sorry. Call of Duty. Call of Duty. This guy, this yo, Mr. Maze is online. This dude took out Mr. Maze and said, Mr. Maze, you ain't that amazing. I also you know what? I avenged Mr. Maze. I came after that dude.
SPEAKER_02:No, he got me too. That was funny, though. I do remember that guy, though. Mr. Maze and you were the Mason. That was funny.
SPEAKER_01:I do give him that. That was funny. That was hilarious, hilarious, people. Hilarious. You had to be there. But Mr. Maze, let's go to our next topic. Mr. Mason, we talked about this in our private conversation, Mr. Mason. What video games do you think people take way too seriously, Mr. Amazon? Okay. I will start off, Mr. Amazon. You don't have to be in order, but I'm gonna start off. We're gonna do five. Let's do five, Mr. Amazon. I'll start off. I'll start off Madden. I agree. That was one of my introductions, so I agree with you that. Madden. If anybody played online with Madden, people will get ridiculous. They will cuss you out. Absolutely. They will talk about your mama, your sister, how they how they're beating you down. You see embarrassed, blah, blah, blah. But man, I ain't gonna lie. When you shut them up, you feel best feeling. Especially little brightly little kids who have nothing else better to do. And grown men who did who think this is the NFL.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, the best feeling is when you're beating the crap out of there and they just turn the game off.
SPEAKER_01:Or they're like they over there, they get a big lead. Next thing you make that comeback, you win the game. Shh. Silence. Silence, son. Silence. All right. That's the best. I had that on my list too. Yeah, so Mr. Basin. Next one, Call of Duty, kid. Of course. Call of Duty.
SPEAKER_02:Of course. That would that has you cursed. We see the ugly of Call of Duty also. Anyone that played any Call of Duty, you see the ugly, the good, and the fun. And the ugly is when they get really racist. Oh, yeah, oh yeah. But very assaulting. That's very nasty. Don't let you be a female.
SPEAKER_01:Let me find you a female. Oh, you're gonna get it, son.
SPEAKER_02:If I was a female, my name would be I wouldn't even put like a female name that people could hit at that. Is that a female uh user? I wouldn't even give you a chance because the people are so disgusting online. I shouldn't, I don't think they should be previewed to some of the stuff that people say. Oh, no. Maybe some of the females are not saying that. I don't know.
SPEAKER_01:It could be so. Could be so. I don't know. You know what I'm saying? But I still watch I was playing Call of Duty. I'm about to get this kill. Homeboy committed, jumped off the freaky, jumping off the building. So I want to get a kill shot.
SPEAKER_02:Damn. I agree. Yeah, definitely Call of Duty. That's definitely one of the one for me I'm gonna go with is um going back to um fighting games. Well, can I do my list? I agree with you. You have two of my golf stuff.
SPEAKER_01:Okay, I okay. Mr. Mason. Yeah. NBA 2K. Yeah, sports games. I still bubble what to play it. And I wasn't that good at 2K. I mean, I admit out the group, I'm I'm third best, and a good dad might get a couple wings off the guys, but I had to put a lot of effort into it. Um, but uh I still was this kid was like, you need to get off the sticks, need to get off the sticks. I was like, oh, snap! Must have been 10. But um, I put like a it's like it you can't be embarrassed in 2K. Yeah, 2K's different me as well. 2K. My next one, Mario Kart. Mario Kart can be challenging. Mario Kart will have you lose your mind. You're you're up you're in the lead. Next thing you know, boom, you get hit with a shell. Yeah, right before the finish line. You're like, what the f now you're third place, son. Yeah. I've been there. Oh, that big bullet cubs. You're like, oh, I'm winning.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah. Oh. Mario Kart can have a lot of. It's almost been family game, but I can see where it becomes an anti-family game.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, yes, yes. Mario Kart, man. My next one is Souls, all the Soul Games. Yeah, they're just hard. And people get mad if you're online and say, yo, you don't have difficulty. They will call you out your name.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, they would. They would actually.
SPEAKER_01:Because I think Soul Games, I think I don't understand why people like to punish themselves. I thought games were joyous. Yeah. People, it's like, what's that say? It's like a dominatrix, these games. People enjoy pain. I agree with that. I don't mind games being challenging. Yeah. And I go, I'm rising rising and rolling. And my thing with me, I think Mr. Maze and Mama Gang, they will do the more the outside mission to get will be level up. Mike Sanson don't care about the level.
SPEAKER_02:I don't want side missions.
SPEAKER_01:Mike Sanson will level up to a certain extent and just say, freak it, we're going. Mike, you see me at 80 on this to get this guy. I might do it at five. It might take a little longer. You can do some special, I do some special technique, but I'll get the job done. That's me.
SPEAKER_02:It goes to UT right now. I did like five straight hours of just side missions the other day.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, so that's me. And the soul game, it's just like you're like, oh my god again. I'm gonna die. Go to work. You're like, don't bother me. You don't bother me, man. So, soul games, Mr. Amazon. Alright, so what you got on your list, Mr. Amazon? I agree.
SPEAKER_02:I got two, uh, pretty much I got three of yours. And then to the two that I would add is fighting games like Street Fighter. I wasn't gonna be able to do that. Any fighting game, if you honestly, Street Fighter Tank, whatever you want to call it. Because when you're losing that person talking trash, do you? Oh, you wanna jump to that screen and smack that person in the face. I've been on both ends of the game, man. For even from wrestling to fighting it, I know that feeling, man. Because I've been a trash and I've been and I've taken the trash.
SPEAKER_01:I still haven't beat Mr. Baze, we still need to play the wrestling game. I think I was I had Stole Cole, yeah, Ravy Stereo. Oh, yeah. Money in the Bay. Mr. Maze, I want my rematch. We need to start playing it. I want my rematch. We gotta go back to that. We gotta go back to that. We'll go back to that. I digress. Go ahead.
SPEAKER_02:And then the one more recently, there's been others, but though, this is six recent because I just played this game, was Astrobot, the side missions where you're doing these very difficult levels. A lot of people complain about them. I skipped them, be honest with you. I was trying to get on the completion of the game, but those little missions, they're like, the boards are like not even maybe five minutes long, not even five minutes long. But they're the hardest five minutes in your life. I just started playing it. Yeah, because you're like, you're like, you jump, you gotta do a flip, you gotta do a thing, there's a body, you gotta do it. Everything comes at you so fast. And then when you beat it, because I read the cops, because I was like, I was so frustrated with it. When you read the cops, everybody shares the same sentiment. Astrobot goes there. And I think I I think 99% of people who play Astrobot know exactly what I'm talking about. Uh, uh, uh, uh, about those missions. Most people skip them, actually. They're frustrated.
SPEAKER_01:So what's okay? I ain't mentioned, but let's say a game that you take too seriously, Miss Man, what's next? Uh well, I have Astrobot, the first one.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah. No, that would that be a good one.
SPEAKER_01:You think people take it really serious to Astrobot? I do think so. Okay, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02:The comments. I'm reading the I went online about the comments. This is everybody's talking about, man. Okay. Yeah, that, yeah, that, and then that the other three you mentioned, like I had. I had uh Madden, 2K, and Call of Duty as well.
SPEAKER_01:All right, I didn't have Mario Mario Carpenter. That's a good one too, though. All right, Mr. Mason. Any uh any honor? Does that have any honorable mentions? I'll say I will say fighting games as well, but Street Fighter is the king of the hill right now. But I will put tech in Street Fighter all the games up there, Mortal Kombat, stuff like that. They're all up there. Frontality.
SPEAKER_02:And if for my honorable mention, I would say the game I gotta be really frustrated. Honestly, it was Mary's Sunshine. I never beat that game. That game was hard. I never beat Mario Sunshine, so that that that's me would gotta be frustrated. Alright.
SPEAKER_01:That's me. All right, Mr. Mason. Anything else you want to say about this? Uh nah. That's me. Mr. Mason, our next topic is Mr. Mason. I don't know if you want to speak on it first. I was PlayStation 30th anniversary, Mr. Mason. Yeah, yeah. What's it the rebock, the rebook connection, Mr. Mason, once again? Yeah, reeboking to collab with them. And they were actually pretty cool looking. I gotta say that. With that instant pump fury 94, is that the one going to Japan?
SPEAKER_02:I'm not sure, be honest with you. I'm not sure, yo. Yeah, that one I I thought you did this topic, Michael Raptor.
SPEAKER_01:I was just a top. Yo, what is on the topic? I'm gonna say, Mr. Mason. I was an interesting topic, man. No, it's an interesting topic. I thought it kicks, but I didn't go ahead. But starting October 17th, which was recently passed. Yeah. But the only thing is you only get on this certain website, CNCPTS. That's the website you can actually buy the PlayStation Rebot sneakers. But reboot pump sneakers, Mr. Amazon. So the Rebot Pump Omni uh OmniZone 2 PlayStation Anniversary Collection with a special box. The box looks kind of pumping. Okay. You know what to go for? I'm curious. Uh the one I saw, I believe it goes for. Oh, I see, though. Yeah. Go tell me how many do you know what's to go for?
SPEAKER_02:Damn, these are in um Japanese, though. So I see the pump omnizone 2, US dollars,$220.
SPEAKER_01:So that's the one,$220.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, but I'm trying to figure out how much the instant pump free goes, but that's a that's a Japanese.
SPEAKER_01:I couldn't get it. Why is that a Japanese? It's a Japanese. And it has the as the launch date of 1994 inside it, by side of sneakers. So it's really cool. Uh the OmniZone 2 is$220. The Instant Pump Fury 94, which in Japan, um, which comes equipped with the sock liners, anniversary gray, the pumps, both, what, PlayStation Play? Oh, press play, sorry, press play feature on the tongue, label and design after the PlayStation classic memory card, Mr. Mason. Oh, that's pretty cool. That's very cool, actually. And I I have rewat pumps. I would I would retrobar pair of rewat pumps. I was trying to get the Charl Bark Mirror Pumps, but I couldn't get them.
SPEAKER_02:Oh, good luck finding that.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, yeah, and good luck kind of paying that money for it. So they did have a special event in New York City recently where they had a DJ or PlayStation 90s theme. So, and that's like I said, you had to actually have to sign up for it. And that started, Mr. Mason, on October 23rd, which this just passed, Mr. Mason, a couple days ago. Uh so I I couldn't get one, Miss Mason.
SPEAKER_02:You're going against shoe fanatics. You're not gonna good luck. Exclusive shoe fanatics? Yeah. You're not gonna get those. But um, I mean, they're pretty cool. I think that's that's a cool thing. This is they this is that this is what was like the second, third collab that they done together, give or take. So I I like that concept.
SPEAKER_01:It's the only place you could get it. I mean, and you went to the van, that was another chance to get it. It's a limited collection to get that. The thing is, would you wear them, Mr. Amazon?
unknown:That's a good question. I don't know.
SPEAKER_01:If I bought two, if I was able to get two.
SPEAKER_02:If I got two, I would. I might actually I might sell one because I probably got aftermarket, you know what much money you can get for that? And then the other one, I don't know if I was gonna wear it, man.
SPEAKER_01:It might just be the collection, though. Well, I I think, yeah, that one, I see the Xbox ones were a little ugly. Oh yeah. But I just see no, I ain't gonna go front. I saw Nintendo Mario think I won it. Get out of here. I ain't gonna front. I'm the grown man. I've been wearing yo. I like my two feet. I've been wearing one.
SPEAKER_02:Are you gonna wear a Yoshi sneaker Michael with the strap?
SPEAKER_01:I think it was Plumer. Pluma made it. Uh, Puma? Yeah. Oh, okay, okay, okay. I'll be I'm I've been sporting them, Mr. Basis. I gotta see it to me. I gotta see how this looks. But you never know, because like Pew Mobs, yo, that's hot, that's hot. Come on, you you wear shirts. I wore like a lot, I wore like my anime shirts and boondock. People see when Boondock, you all like the Boondock shirt. People love that shirt. And then one time I had a Pickle t-shirt on. I love you. I'm on Jimmy Avenue. Dude's like, look, you shirt, I like your shirt. Like, yo, so my favorite character. Yeah, so you know he's what black character.
SPEAKER_02:You know, I don't know. I always say I love every Greek character. Think about it. Every character that's what's my favorite. Oh, dude, Ninja Turtles, Guy from Naruto, Pickled from Dragon Ball. If you're Green, you know you're my favorite character.
SPEAKER_01:My friend carries money. Alright. Let that bring that to it to fruition, man. All right, Mr. Mason. Let's go to our trail of the week, Mr. Mason. Our trail of the week, we discuss it in the open, Mr. Mason, is the trail uh the movie, well, the documentary of being Eddie on Netflix, Mr. Mason. I even said about this. All right.
SPEAKER_00:Good morning, my neighbors. You had that appointment with destiny. He changed the way we view comedy. You take all of the money. He started so young. Eddie was right out of high school because he was just fearless. My stuff took off because he'd never seen a young black person take charge of. He had the number one movie comedy special in the song that was unprecedented. He's like a murderer from stand-up comedy to big screen sexy. That's a basic hands. He went from being the raw guy to the family guy. Like a hundred years from now. I heard you're doing that laugh upstairs. I want to show them that like everybody in this town and everybody in this city. And everything in between. Not just American culture. Yeah, I guess so. Yeah. One of the greatest ever. If you get that, then you get it all. The best show on television is ridiculous. I love that he's sitting around watching ridiculousness. That's fucking hilarious.
SPEAKER_01:Mr. Amazon being Eddie arriving on Netflix. When Mr. Amazon? November 12th. November 12th. Do you green light this? Yo, like this. Can I finish saying it? Can I finish saying you interrupt me? I'm a big Eddie fan. So that's easy for me. Yeah, I green light it. A Murphy is one of the top comedians of all time. Agreed. You know my top comedian is. Richard Price, you're a big player. Yeah. I'll put I'll put him, then Eddie Murphy, then Joseph Call. Okay. This is all opinion based on his letter on that list.
SPEAKER_02:It's a good list, actually.
SPEAKER_01:You know what I'm saying? But I green light this trailer. A Murphy is one person I admire. I give him credit for the talent. He's evolved over the years. Yes. He has a young wife. Age 67, 66. Gotta give credit. And uh, yo, much success. You gotta give the man credit. A young man growing up. Uh was he one in Long Island? New York City, baby, right? I thought it was Brooklyn. Was it Brooklyn? I thought it was Long Island. We claim everybody in New York. New York. New York. We're claiming everybody, you know what I'm saying? But yeah, it's very interesting. Um I'm very interested. November, I'm very interested. November 12th, enough enough sad, Mike. Enough said.
SPEAKER_02:No, Eddie, I'm absolutely looking forward to that. I'm definitely gonna watch that. Eddie's definitely a pioneer for me. And um, what I admire about Eddie, he's one of the first comedians to play diverse roles in one show. If you know him, like, for example, the Nutty Professor, like other people.
SPEAKER_01:You said diverse in one show. You're talking about in his career, you're saying show.
SPEAKER_02:No, in a career, career-wise. Like he could play multiple people. Like, I I feel like a lot of artists weren't doing that the way Eddie was at that point. Like when he'll play the wife, the mom, the dad, and he'll do the different characters all in, you know, in a in one movie, he'll do it. Like the way he was doing it. I mean, he he came from the background from beside their lives doing it in other shows, but his diver his um diverse background of doing it makes him stand out to me. That's one of the things I put.
SPEAKER_01:What was it? Not even a fessor. That's yeah, yeah, like that. Like a character. And also Coming America.
SPEAKER_02:Coming America, exactly, stuff like that. Like, he was doing it at a high level, man. Just think about, just think about this way. Ferry Kyle, or what is it? Fellon Collin? The actor. Was it the Felon Collin?
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, where he did um Penguin.
SPEAKER_02:Penguin, yeah. He didn't want to do part two of the season two because he was tied wearing a fat suit. So imagine Eddie Murphy was wearing fat suits all day. So imagine that. So I'm just like, it's not easy, man. It looks easy because on TV, we're gonna do it.
SPEAKER_01:We're laughing here, enjoying it. I don't think he was getting the same kind of check.
SPEAKER_02:He wasn't getting the same kind of check.
SPEAKER_01:Colin Kai was not.
SPEAKER_02:Colin Kyle was getting a fat check for the penguin, though.
SPEAKER_01:But he's not getting a fat check like Eddie Murphy was.
SPEAKER_02:I don't think Eddie kind of. I I I I look it up. But I think Kyle's got a bigger check than Eddie did for Nutty Professor. I don't think so. I think he did. Because no one knew Nutty Professor was gonna blow up like that. No, no, no.
SPEAKER_01:No one knew Nutty Professor was gonna blow like that. There were two Nutty Festors. Yes. And Eddie Murphy had done this before and then coming to America. This is not brand new. Exactly.
SPEAKER_02:So we kind of expected Penguin to blow up. Like, I feel like when Pig was was advertised like that, everyone's like, this is gonna be a fat show. He's gonna get a fat check for that. We would have looked that up. Before that show, I'll start the answer for you on that. Well, what did each person get paid for that for that for that role? But you might be right. But we but we both agree that Eddie's biggest check was probably from Shrek. Yeah, I think it is Shrek. It probably is from Shrek, because you know, obviously, that that's a PG movie, so everybody, it's for everybody. So that's probably his biggest checks from there. And I'm not mad at that. Only thing I didn't like about Eddie, you know, I don't sorry Eddie, I gotta, I even though I love you. No, I gotta tell you I don't know what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_01:Not the movie, the other stuff. That's the other thing.
SPEAKER_02:What I didn't like from him was that his hiatus. He took a long hiatus, to be honest with you.
SPEAKER_01:Oh, I didn't I took a hiatus from a while. The don't hiatus if you want to do a comedy show. Yeah, forget it, but you took a hiatus from moving actor for a while, too. He took a little hiatus, man. You took a hiatus. I was like, sometimes you gotta go away to all the miss.
SPEAKER_02:Nah, man. What would you even do? No, it's not tough for you. Sometimes you're gonna be missed, I understand it, but not not in the entertainment business. That's in the entertainment that's it's quite the opposite. I see you say business.
SPEAKER_01:That's bad for your entertainment business. Yo, he's laying on money and uh he's laying on lots of money, so he's gonna.
SPEAKER_02:I didn't hear about this, but I mean, he I mean he he put his he put people on. Shout out to his brother, but he rests in peace. Like his brother blew up. You're like, we don't even Eddie was becoming more relevant because of his brother. I do not hiatus, I'm saying, like, for people who didn't know who Eddie was. They were like, they knew about him because of his brother. Charlie Murphy at one point was the man off the uh David Chappelle skits and other stuff that he was doing. But that's all we can like about Eddie, the hiatus he took. But outside of that, amazing. And I do wish he did a stand-up comedy, but you and I can both admit that it it's the time's gonna pass. I don't think that's a way to do it.
SPEAKER_01:He's not gonna do it. It would have been asked a question.
SPEAKER_02:Who's on a comedian that you feel doesn't get enough credit?
SPEAKER_01:Does he not? Just one.
SPEAKER_02:I I have mine. I don't know if you're gonna say enough credit.
SPEAKER_01:Does he not get enough credit? I think Aries. Aries, he's too controversial, man. Yeah, so he's super he's very controversial. But that's your opinion, nothing wrong with that. I think he has the talent, because he should he should have been out. He could have he should have doing animated cartoons. He could have done a lot of stuff. He's controversial. He could have done TV shows. This guy, he could have re-evolved.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, agreed, but the thing is he's the controversial. Remember he got he got in that little thing with him and um with the girl, forgot her name.
SPEAKER_01:Tiffany's kind of situation. That wasn't a comic girl, who cares?
SPEAKER_02:That little thing. And then the stuff that came out, whatever, that. But for me, I'm gonna say, yes, he looks successful, but I think he didn't get enough credit with Damon Wayne. I thought Damon's Wayne is very underrated for the stuff that out of the to be out of all the Wayne brothers, he's the most talented one. Me personally, that's what I think. I think he's also the funniest one, actually, too. But I just also feel that, because he's always had TV series that's crazy.
SPEAKER_01:He's bad could have Gardy's man, Mr. Amazing's mad, could have canceled Papa's house. Yeah, which is stupid, because that was a very successful show, actually. I don't know why they did that, actually. I didn't think it was a bad show. I just thought I didn't like the relationship was just moving a little too fast on him and uh and his co-star a few. Oh, cool star from well. Yeah, I didn't know. They were building on that. I think they should have slowed that down.
SPEAKER_02:You're dealing on that. But like, I just feel like all his shows are good from that, My Wife and Kids. Uh, he's always very pretty good. I can't remember the other one he had. Oh my god, I'm blank. All right, but he he's he's my underrated.
SPEAKER_01:Alright. Cool. But Mr. Mason, let's go to our should we care topic. Mr. Mason.
unknown:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:Is Xbox really dead, Mr. Mason?
SPEAKER_02:In my eyes it is, but. But obviously they're not.
SPEAKER_01:We heard about Costco, Target, Walmart, not officially, not officially, we'll say unofficially. Not really selling Xboxes. I've been I went to Walmart, went to Target. YouTubers have gone to Walmart and Target. Some places don't even have an Xbox section. Or is very small, Mr. Amazon. What the freak is going on, Mr. Amazon? Tell us what happened to Xbox. Let me let me go over the numbers. We'll exclude the original Xbox OG one. Because PlayStation 2 stomped them out. We ain't worried about that. We'll go to Xbox Concerts for the 360, Mr. Amazon. So 84 million, Mr. Amazon. Very good. If you think you have an Xbox executive, 84 million. We could build on that. We could build on that. Even though PlayStation outsold them, PlayStation 3 caught up with him. But he still has the momentum to momentum.
SPEAKER_02:Everybody knew that's the better system.
SPEAKER_01:It doesn't matter. Numbers didn't matter that year. Yeah, yeah. Yo, yo, it was the best system for that. Also for the mindset. A PSD was more powerful. We always said it doesn't matter. The thing is, Xbox 360 had everything was the mindset as the vault console to get. Yeah, agree. But Mr. Mason, they fell off.
SPEAKER_02:Big time.
SPEAKER_01:Big time, Mr. Mason.
SPEAKER_02:First the price, like the following, the following generation.
SPEAKER_01:The Xbox One sold 32 million.
SPEAKER_02:That's a big drop, dude. That's almost half.
SPEAKER_01:Sorry, sorry. The Xbox sold 51 million. Sorry. Big drop off. 51 million, Mr. Mason. The Xbox C X and S has sold 32 million as of February 2025. And Xbox has stopped reporting cost and sales since then. They should.
SPEAKER_02:They should. Okay. Alright, so Mike give us some double. You're done, Mike give us that.
SPEAKER_01:I'm done, Mr. Mason.
SPEAKER_02:And Xbox is done. Okay, so you know, Gary Traffic, we don't like to give you false information. So what Mike said, going by the I test, he doesn't lie. You go to stores, you go to whatever retail you like, you don't see that many Xbox sections and stuff. But the actuality is Walmart, Target, Xbox all made joint statements saying that they are not stopping the sales of the Xbox of 360, that they're gonna continue it, and they plan to continue selling their products and accessories and look forward to their new products coming out. So we'll we'll we'll put an end to that because they did make a joint statement, so you gotta go by what their mouth is. But the eye test does say otherwise. I went to God, I went there. I was like, ah, let me go there. Mother Please ain't nothing there. I know. I agree with you because I would this be my little try. It's a small, it's a it's a small express targets I go to. I see Xbox, I see PlayStation. I mean, I see PlayStation, I see the Nintendo Switch. I don't see the Xbox, man. I don't see Jack. Yeah, the iTunes doesn't lie, but there've been joint statements from all three parts. I see a bunch of controllers, you know, a bunch of controllers.
SPEAKER_01:I was like, all right, um, no, I no. I did, you know what? I did see the Xbox fridge.
SPEAKER_02:Uh the fridge probably did. Did you ever get one?
SPEAKER_01:I got the toaster.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, the toaster, yeah, the toaster. That's what you have. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:I thought I thought I could play Xbox on it.
SPEAKER_02:Wait, but didn't you get the little mini fridge to win Christmas? No. You didn't get it.
SPEAKER_01:That was like a mini fridge that I'm a mini, a non-ini fridge, but wasn't an Xbox mini fridge. Which was garbage. It it was supposed to play, you opposed that Bluetooth didn't work. Oh yeah? The freezer, the refrigerator worked for about two months and this it died. Died. I believe it. I got it for Marshalls. So I I see what you're saying, and um, and I see what the you know, Target, Walmart saying, but the iTet shows, mmm, you ain't getting an Xbox from here. Maybe online you online you'll get it, and then like I said, you know GameStop's gonna sell it.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, but Xbox is not helping their situation too. They didn't raise their price twice in one year. You ain't helping yourself, man. Sometimes you gotta eat the loss. Eat the loss to get the cells, cut the cells out, man. I have you sitting on the on the shelf, not selling. What are you gonna do? Eat the tariff. You got no choice. Yeah, eat the tariff.
SPEAKER_01:But whatever. I digress. All right, Mr. Mason. Do you have a shower of the week, Mr. Mason? I don't have a shower for this week. Shout out of the week? Oh, man.
SPEAKER_02:I don't think I have one, but I feel like I should.
SPEAKER_01:Nah, I don't think I have one. No shout out of the week, people. No gangster makes of the week either. Mr. Mason, we are gonna be out, Mr. Maze. But Mr. Maze, finally, what do you think of the AI of Tupac and Biggie and WE wrestling?
SPEAKER_02:I find it entertaining, but I did it gets a little creepy sometimes. But I do find something entertaining, but it can be creepy.
SPEAKER_01:The only thing I didn't like when he did the Kobe one with his daughter in a helicopter. Oh, yeah, yeah. Flyer, I did not like that. Oh, okay. Also, they saw him crash. They had a crash. Oh no, that's he's like, oh, he's looking for my with my daughter and all that stuff. That I didn't like. That you went too far.
SPEAKER_02:AI is tricky. Yeah, like I got said. It's it could be entertaining, but my favorite is you, what I like from watching from AI, and I get a kick out of it, is when they do the Maury shows with cats, and then they'd be like, Rufus, when it comes to baby, baby precious, you are not the fan that the dog goes crazy, the cat goes crazy. I don't know why I find those hilarious, but that's why he's my AI time launching, man.
SPEAKER_01:All right, everybody, this is the Game of Traffic Show. We are launching YouTube channel, and Jerry won't give you the date. Mr. Maze is pumped up for it. I'm like the fan, yo. I'm like a fan over here. Until I see it.
SPEAKER_02:I'll be pumped up, yo. Mr. Maze, you're part of the show. I'm the hell you're not pumped up. Yo, I still I'm still a fan at the first, yo. Until I'm part of that. Until Cinodacity cars with my face, I'll be pumped like everybody else. Oh, Jesus Christ.
SPEAKER_01:Everybody, this is the Game of Traffic Show. We out. Peace. Later, you're not going to be able to
