On today's Game of Traffic Show, we're gonna talk about your portal, PlayStation Portal, making big moves. We also are gonna talk about man Ghost, Ghost, not OT. It's making big moves and big sales, Mr. Amazon. But again, today's show told the biggest, biggest news in gaming. Mr. Mason was right, Mr. Amazon. Tell people. I gotta plug them. November 6th.
SPEAKER_00:So a year from now, actually. November 19th, actually. Damn, Mr. November 19th, 2026. Yeah, this was an easy call because we had a conversation on air last time. Was it on air we had the conversation? We had on air, it was a couple episodes. Yeah, so we had a conversation and then we were talking about you was like, I was like, Mike, it's gonna delay because we haven't seen one trailer since they released that big trailer. And I'm like, this is a game that's supposed to be coming on in May. We should at least have like three trails by now. Nothing. So to me, that was telltelling sign. I was like, yo, this is gonna get delayed. And sure enough, Rockstar drops the bomb on us. Was it this week? Last week, whatever it was, they dropped the bomb on us. And Mike, please take it over. They said the game is delayed. And why? Can you please tell us why Mike is delayed?
SPEAKER_01:For the powers, Mr. Amazon. Yes. Make sure the game is will say correct, done right, without glitches, like Mr. Mason, like the three-pack. Grant the other. That was horrible. Tony Tony's uh whatever it's called. Yeah, the three-pack was Sandreas. Um, was it Vice City?
SPEAKER_00:I think there's one more, too. I forgot what it was.
SPEAKER_01:Vice City and I forgot the uh third one in the pack. But listen, man, Miss Mason, it was screwed up. It was, it was. It was screwed up.
SPEAKER_00:And I totally understand that, but I think it's more than that. I think it's just uh pressure. Because when you come in off of selling, what is it, 220 million of Dread The 405? Yeah, 220 million copies of Dread The 405, it's a lot of pressure to follow to have the game that thing. So I understand them delaying it. Not surprised at all, because usually leading up to a release of a game this soon coming up in less than like six months from now, you would have gotten more information. So I get it. I mean, remember when the games are all during COVID, everything was like do the COVID related, do the COVID related, do the COVID related. That was an excuse, but you know, the polish, which is normal. That's always been the thing in gaming world. Um, I'm not shocked. And I kind of expected this, but I am a little surprised. The only thing I'm surprised is is how far back they pushed it. I thought maybe they would have dropped it off in August, maybe. August, September, around there, but that November.
SPEAKER_01:No, that's surprising November.
SPEAKER_00:You think you don't think that's a kind of that's kind of deep for game from now all the way to November? You didn't think more like an August window would have been better.
SPEAKER_01:Nah, but according to uh Inside Gamer Tom Edison, yeah, it veiled the cost of delay for Grand Theft Auto Six is costing them$10 million. Wow. Nor they got that much.$10 million. Nah, Mr. May, hold up. A month.
SPEAKER_00:Oh, that's a lot. So that's six months.
SPEAKER_01:So that's 60 million. 60 million. This delay is costing them.
SPEAKER_00:But this but the crazy thing about this, this delay is not just a rock star problem. This is a publisher's problem. Because now you got publishers all thinking like what you find out. Huh?
SPEAKER_01:What do you mean by publisher's problem?
SPEAKER_00:It's a publisher's problem. Other publishers. They're thinking about like uh Grant Theft Falls coming in November, scrap the deal, uh, not we're not dropping this anymore. Oh, okay, you know, like that.
SPEAKER_01:So since you want to touch on that, I'll make some games, you told me who has a problem. All right, so that wouldn't be a problem. Okay, let's say who has a problem.
SPEAKER_00:Okay.
SPEAKER_01:Okay, um, Marvel Woolverine. Do they have a problem?
SPEAKER_00:What's that supposed to drop in November?
SPEAKER_01:This fall.
SPEAKER_00:Fall. I think I think it has a problem. I wouldn't drop it in. Why do you say that? Because you don't want to come out the same time as a as a big known game like that. But I was thinking November.
SPEAKER_01:It'll probably drop in October.
SPEAKER_00:October, I think. I think a five-week window between the two games is perfect. Anything more than five wind wizard i I think is bad. But it's not the same drama. It doesn't matter, Mike, because you want the hype to yourself.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, but I'm just saying, but it's October, it'll still it'll still pee, we'll say November, the number three selling game.
SPEAKER_00:Uh, you're talking about Marvel.
SPEAKER_01:Yes. Yeah, probably number three.
SPEAKER_00:If it drops, let's say it drops October 1st, perfect. October 2nd, perfect. But October 30th, not good. No, it's not gonna happen. It's not happening. Not good. Not good. That's what I'm saying. Like, it depends on where in October you drop. October, beginning October, that's perfect. Because you you have a five-week, almost a five-week, you have more than a five-week window for you to own in that little window. That's fine. Like I said, five weeks or more between Daddy Grant Theft Auto, that's fine.
SPEAKER_01:I mean, like Okay, I'll I'll hit you another one. Go ahead. Fable. Yeah, Fable.
SPEAKER_00:Big time. Big time. Big, big, big, big, big time. I think uh Marvel, I'm not worried about because Marvel's gonna sell regardless. Fable, I'm not Fable wish I do think it's gonna sell in regards, but the thing is that Xbox needs the spots of their own because they are their poor sales.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, but they got plenty of games come out. I'll go another one. Does it really matter? What have they done? Fourzone Rise of 6.
SPEAKER_00:I don't think that's coming out this year, though. It's coming out this year. Like 2026? I'm sorry, I'm saying this year 2026.
SPEAKER_01:Um during that's that year, yes. 2026. It's a racist. Is there another game uh not the not the same?
SPEAKER_00:Not the same genre. I think you I think they'll be okay.
SPEAKER_01:This game might have a problem. Halo camping evolved.
SPEAKER_00:Anything, I'm gonna say it right now, so I don't just so you know, anything Xbox major uh AAA game is gonna shouldn't come out around this time.
SPEAKER_01:So you say Gears of War.
SPEAKER_00:Gears of War, Fable, you name it. Nothing Xbox exclusive should come out around this time.
SPEAKER_01:Mr. Mason. What's up? You said you said exclusive. Then let's keep it real. But a little bit of exclusive they still have. Before he goes on the PlayStation PC. Mr. Mason. Okay, I'm going with the big hitter, son. Big hitter.
SPEAKER_00:Go ahead.
SPEAKER_01:Call of Duty. Next Call of Duty game.
SPEAKER_00:Yes. I I don't think you want to jump around that too. Because. You're talking the big time game, top seller every year. Matt for the spinster perspective. My son, who's heavy duty, Call of Duty kind of guy. And then mostly that's when he plays that in NBA 2K. But there's that third game he loves to play. Grand Defado. Grant Defward. You're asking him to play a game that he plays every month. Or, I mean, every year he gets his game to a game that he hasn't gotten in over 10 years. He's gonna be most likely people like him are gonna pick that game. They're thirsty for the game. Of course they're thirsty. And if that game is like that violet, cool game you don't get on the time. Everyone's talking about it. Nah. Call of D's in trouble. I wouldn't drop around that time. But they are. Because they always drop it on that time. That's what I'm saying. This is a publisher's nightmare right now.
SPEAKER_01:Okay. Virtual fighter. The next game, next fighting.
SPEAKER_00:Fighting games are okay.
SPEAKER_01:Okay.
SPEAKER_00:I think fighting games are okay. You can always pick up a fighting game and go. That's nothing. I think you're okay. But I do think even a game like Madden. Because you got the game. Madden comes out. But they're saying that. Yeah, but there's according to IGM, what they're saying is games like that, like sports games, a lot of them might push up their release dates to things. I know. They were saying that. They might push up. This is a ride for E IG. Nothing's here's concrete.
SPEAKER_01:But they're saying they can't. They probably don't even play push up their things. Why would they why would they put how we're gonna push it?
SPEAKER_00:No, they we don't push it. You can't. And I mean, I think who might who might push out their thing is maybe FIFA. Because of the uh the World Cup. FIFA comes in October. Yeah, but then but but it makes more sense for them to push up because of several reasons. The World Cup, and then you also want to avoid the World Cup Cup Cup Cup Cup.
SPEAKER_01:So let me ask you a question. So so the games come out early December. You're talking about uh we're talking about any games that might might be affected by Call of Duty.
SPEAKER_00:Five-week window. November 19th, you you can't no games can come out within the five window before or after. That's my thing. Nothing for that five-week window is it's you'll do it's all especially the one I feel bad for the most is it's Xbox because they need the the soul attention, they need the soul attention just on Grand Theft. I mean, just on Gears, just on um Fable. They need soul attention. Xbox, for example, whatever game they they drop, it'll get the sales regardless. It'll eventually get the sales that it was gonna get if being that so Xbox and the soul game.
SPEAKER_01:How do we know the sales? It's on Game Pass.
SPEAKER_00:No, but remember, well, yes, you're right. Yes, you are right, but they don't know from the streams. They don't release it to us, but they will know from it from the streams. How would they do it? Oh, you know, yeah. I I wouldn't be surprised if they move up these games, to be honest with you. Who knows? But I thought Highlight Day 2026 was supposed to be uh uh a thin window from what I was reading. Well, I thought it was supposed to be.
SPEAKER_01:With not that much uh games all now. Remember, a lot of people announced the games.
SPEAKER_00:They haven't announced when they're gonna come out, though, but I think with this, this is a game changer. I think a lot of games come in and be like, you know what? We're gonna come out in January. We're gonna come out in early early. Oh, yeah, that's gonna come out. That's probably gonna be a summer game.
SPEAKER_01:The PlayStation School Saurus is coming out early.
SPEAKER_00:Well, I'm not interested in that. I was interested by that too. That's crazy.
SPEAKER_01:Crimson Desert, that's coming out early. Okay. So those games I'm not gonna worry about. That's listening. I don't know where the new uh the PlayStation Marvel fighting game is coming out, but that should be fine. That should be fine. If we was guessing, I'd probably say that's the one. It's gonna be evil. Around evil. May April?
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, like yeah, around evil. So that I think they're gonna be fine too.
SPEAKER_01:May April.
SPEAKER_00:But mate, I got a question for you. Do you, it's an early prediction though. Do you think this is uh Rockstar's final delay?
SPEAKER_01:I thought about saying something wacky and saying that it's a delay to January 2026. I know me. Oh 2027? Is it delayed January 27?
SPEAKER_00:Wow, that's just too much, I think.
SPEAKER_01:But also remember they also got some complication where people got fired from Rockstar. Which is true. And those are the people they said was trying to unionize.
SPEAKER_00:Uh, you that's right. We did talk about that.
SPEAKER_01:I think we don't think we talked about it. I think I mentioned it, but off air. But that also complicates things too.
SPEAKER_00:So then you're not confident this is their last delay then?
SPEAKER_01:Well, let's keep 100. It's still early. People, let's keep 100. Rockstar has a history of delaying games. Of course. Well, that's normal. Let's let's go back. Grand Theft All Three, one of the biggest games in the 2000s, was delayed. Well, maybe it's delayed because the terror attack in um September 11. They pushed that game back.
SPEAKER_00:Well, remember, because they also have to take the stuff of the building out the game too, remember? Yeah, yeah. Yeah, three weeks.
SPEAKER_01:Smuggler Run 2. Smuggler's Run 2 was also released with GJ3, was also delayed as well.
SPEAKER_00:Okay.
SPEAKER_01:Mr. Amazing, Grand Theft Order was also delayed.
SPEAKER_00:The first one, five?
SPEAKER_01:Four. Four. Grand Theft Auto 4 was also delayed. That poster came out October 7th. It didn't arrive out until January, 2008.
SPEAKER_00:Okay, October, November, what three months. But it's not too bad.
SPEAKER_01:Not like a year like this one is. But no, it didn't come out that day. It came out April 4th. Oh. 2008.
SPEAKER_00:So that came out about six, seven months later.
SPEAKER_01:Yes.

SPEAKER_01:Mason. Red Death Redemption was your favorite games. My favorite games, yep. That was called fall 2017. Oh, no, sorry. From fall 2017 to spring 2018.
SPEAKER_00:That was that button time.
SPEAKER_01:Then came out October 2018.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, that I remember because I was tight about that.
SPEAKER_01:Because some of the games will have one delay, but some of the games have three or four delays. So Rockstar has been known for delays. So we should not be surprised by the delays.
SPEAKER_00:Was it um the one with um Keanu Reese that kept getting delayed a lot too? Who? Oh my god. Cyberpunk? CyberPod. That got delayed a lot, too, right? Not really. Was that getting delayed a whole bunch of times?
SPEAKER_01:Probably once okay. I really don't remember. Oh no, I remember the bugs. The bugs. And how they flip. It should have got delayed, maybe. Maybe, maybe I meant to say should have got the colour. But it did got better than that. When it got clean, it got clean. It was really good. We just give it credit where credit's due. And also, Mr. Maze, reporting with the delays, take two stocks sank 7%.
SPEAKER_00:Of course. That's a hit for them. Think about it. You're an economy, right? It's not at the strongest, despite what everyone would think. And you're facing crazy tariffs. This was gonna be our our window to make our money, and then boom, you gotta wait a whole year. So between now and then, someone's getting fired, Michael. It's inevitable. And that's not funny though, but I'm saying like the money. Like you give it a downsides, because you know, a lot a lot of things were banking on on Grand Theft Auto's release. A lot of people. Not only that, Gay Stock was probably banking on it. Best buy, a lot of people's banking on this on the release for this thing.
SPEAKER_01:Oh yeah, a lot of people uh will count when council sales will count on May, but it's good for holiday season for next year.
SPEAKER_00:But thanks, can you a lot of people just can't wait until 2026 holiday season? So I'm trying to tell you. No, I'm talking about like some people can't survive. Like uh uh uh you know, some stores just can't survive that. They need the sales. I mean the sales from Grand Theft Auto. Well, what stores gonna store's gonna die? What are you talking about? I'm just talking about just in general, like the the company, like you know, other places, like the third parties and stuff that work, you know, that sells Grand Theft Auto, like that. Like they those were the Grand Theft Auto is gonna generate income for them, is what I'm trying to say.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, but uh, yeah, I understand. But the Holly Season is the big scene where people start spending money uh willy-nilly at times. You sometimes when the comedy suck, people still go out there and spend money willy-nilly. So the only thing is I would say for console sales, it'll be it'll be down for this. I mean, it'll be pull that 2026, it'd be a good year to buy PlayStation 6 in Xbox.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, it would be.
SPEAKER_01:Uh Nintendo Switch 2 will not have a Grand Theft Auto 2.
SPEAKER_00:Did they say that? Yeah, we're assuming that.
SPEAKER_01:I mean, sorry, Grand Theft Auto 6. No.
SPEAKER_00:But they said that though.
SPEAKER_01:We're assuming that's not it's not. We don't know that though, man. We don't know that. You keep saying that nuts. We don't know that. This dude keep this dude makes some damn prediction else. Yo, they're gonna announce it. Oh, Grant the All 6 for Twitter Switch.

SPEAKER_00:Wow, beautiful, thank you. So, ladies and gentlemen, this gets hyped. As we all know. You pressing gotta break that controller. The switch, which is about six months old now, I want to say, right? About six months old to Switch 2.

SPEAKER_00:I think so. Did it come out in uh June? So five, go on six months, but five months.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, that's for your pressure. Go ahead.
SPEAKER_00:So the Switch 2, ladies and gentlemen, as of September 30th, has sold 10.36 million consoles.
SPEAKER_01:You tell Mr. Maze and Mr. Until he had to add the point, two point something. That's right. Carry the one, carry the one percentage.
SPEAKER_00:That right. And to put that to perspective, let me show you guys how that how impressive this is. The switch one, which which sold amazingly well in that same time frame, sold under two million. So let that take it to you out.
SPEAKER_01:It's still under two, not under two million.
SPEAKER_00:Under two million copies. The switch one in that same six-month time frame.
SPEAKER_01:And it's still under two million consoles.
SPEAKER_00:My under, under, yes, it did. It sold under two million copies in that same front time frame. Right, you're correct.
SPEAKER_01:The switch one. That can also show you. But also the show, it was hard to get the switch more than that.
SPEAKER_00:It was hard to get, but so was the switch too.
SPEAKER_01:No, you can't, no, you get the switch too. Now you could get it. Yes. Come on, you can get it. The month after it came out, you could have got it to store it.
SPEAKER_00:Oh, agree. But Mike, no, don't take away from it. Don't take away from a Nintendo shot, Michael. Just get Nintendo's credit. Just get just ride with the flow. Hold on, no. Yo, who's a godfather gaming? Nintendo, baby.

SPEAKER_00:Yeah. So this is very impressive numbers we're talking about. And it is so impressive. You know what Nintendo did? Go tell the people. Tell the people it's amazing. Tell the people. It's gonna be a lot of hype for this thing. Nintendo upped their forecast because of this. They're so impressed with their self. Their fiscal year ends in March of 2026. They look at the bureau and say, TM1 pretty. Go ahead. Pretty much. What they said was, you know what? We're gonna up our four our forecast to sell an extra four to four minutes. So they're projected to sell between 15 million by March. They said, nah, we could do 19 million. Ladies and gentlemen, that is impressive numbers right now.
SPEAKER_01:I think we'll hit 20.
SPEAKER_00:I think so. Especially with the holiday season. Hell yeah, they can hit 20. There's a lot of people that don't have the switch to yet. There's a lot of people that don't have it yet. So this is impressive stuff about Nintendo right now. And what coincides with that, Mike, when we talk about Sales of Account? So what goes with it? Money? Well, money, yes, obviously. Games. Games. Yes, games. So that means Nintendo also sold, Switch 2 sold over 20 million games in that time frame as well. Obviously, leading the way is Super Mario. Mario Kart in the world, yeah. At 10 million, so half their sales is that. And which I thought was kind of low, was DockyCon. Oh, that's 3.5 million. I mean, it's impressive. But I thought it's nothing that stays that. No, it's nothing impressive. But like I thought I thought it'd be a little bit higher to be honest with you. But the reason Mario Kart is because the bundle.
SPEAKER_01:If it was Zelda, then I would be like, because Zelda's Zelda's hot.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. But but Mario's numbers are impressive like that because of the bundle off. Because I think they sold 8.1 million um with the bundle units. Yeah, most definitely. So that that helps a lot, actually.
SPEAKER_01:Well, I bought it with the bundle. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. You gotta get with the bundle. Yeah, we gotta get a switch game on. I have several Switch games. So I'm done. Cause we gotta finish our Contra game. Well, I bought it for the Switch.
SPEAKER_00:Oh, okay, you're dumb. That'd be done.
SPEAKER_01:And a couple other games. We'll talk about it later this later this year, Twitch games we played. Or what we're playing next week. Boy.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, so Nintendo's having a great, great six months, man. So shout out to Dumb. I mean, what I what can I say, man? They're impressive. And everybody that's that you know what's on them always says, Well, this is for kids. This is this is this is not a, you know, hardcard games on Play Switch 2. They don't care. Oh yeah, but they don't care.
SPEAKER_01:They still project the sales for the OG Switch for uh during this time for I believe four as far as they dropped it though. Yeah, for it was now it was 4.5 million, now they said 4 million.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, they dropped it a little bit. Because the reason they dropped it because the switch tools do so well, people were just like, if let's think about it, you throw an extra 150 bucks, 200 bucks, you can just get the switch too.
SPEAKER_01:The money erased the price of the switch.
SPEAKER_00:It didn't raise the price, but they did it on purpose, though. Because that price hike was supposed to be on the switch too, to be honest with you, because of the tariffs, but they was just like, damn, we're this thing's so too high. We can't carry the price, yo.
SPEAKER_01:You're speculating. Huh?
SPEAKER_00:I am speculating, but but but put two and two together on Mike though.
SPEAKER_01:Put two and two together, though. Yeah, but you say you're gonna be honest, like yo, your inside makes it break. I don't know inside.

SPEAKER_01:Speculation, okay.
SPEAKER_00:Be honest with you. If you're gonna do a put a tariff, would you put on your new system? Would you put on your old one that people are not buying anymore? I see what you're saying. You put on your old one.
SPEAKER_01:Be honest with you. But they also said it could substitute change.
SPEAKER_00:It could subject to substitute to change. Keep it real, it's gonna go up. I think the switch too's gonna go back after the first fiscal year ends in March. We're gonna get a price hike. I think they're gonna let it rock for the first fiscal year, which ends in March. Then after that, price hike is kicking in. But as we did see though, but it hasn't happened on still on hardwares yet. It happened mostly on food. Uh we Trump signed an order yesterday. Was it yesterday? Uh resending a lot of his tariffs due to the economy not doing well. So maybe that might maybe if it gets to the hardware for the makers of the consoles, that the price goes low. We never have to see a price hike. So we'll see. We'll see. We'll see how things are. We're still early, but we'll see. Like I said, we will probably get a price hike after March. I do think when it's gonna come. It's just inevitable. But Nintendo, keep doing what you're doing, baby. You're shining right now. You're shining. All right, Mike Mac.

Big time. Who's gonna buy a system? You can't even play in your bathroom without the PlayStation 5 turned on. This is a joke. So we just wasted the money. Damn, we were wrong. Yeah, I think for the past year and a half, it's been the top um We know very well. A top uh uh what do you call it? This is a P. What's your handheld? Uh not top hand off. Um other than the PlayStation 5 is the hottest property they have to say. Okay. Um I can't say the word.
SPEAKER_00:What word were you trying to say? Damn it. You know what I'm talking about. The top is what? Accessory.
SPEAKER_01:Accessory. Oh, okay, but it's just accessory. Okay. Yeah. Sorry, people. So that's when the top has been the top 10 of Amazon for the longest. And the top hottest product.
SPEAKER_00:So just take a perspective. How long does the portal been on two years or three years this time? Almost two years now?
SPEAKER_01:I think it's been two years? We came about last year. Came about last year. Came about last year. So it's a year and it's a year, almost a year. No, it's more than yeah. I think it's two years.
