SPEAKER_04:

Let's do this. Welcome everybody to another episode of the Game of Traffic Show. I'm your host, Mike Sanderson. Chilling my co-hosts! Everybody get up for Mr. Amazon. A team gave a traffic show. We're gonna talk about a new movie star Chris Hemsworth and Holly Berry, Mr. Amazon. Kind of pumped up for this. We also gonna talk about Mr. Mason, a console that's only being sold in one country, Mr. Mason. But begin today's show, talk about Here comes a new challenge in the console world, Mr. Mason. Another per not another person, but another company trying to enter the living room space, which has been run by Nintendo, Xbox, and PlayStation. Mr. Mason, tell people.

SPEAKER_05:

Well, they already know already, but if you haven't heard, who if you haven't heard, now you know Valve is now working on the hardware console. Coming to a theater near you, actually. No, but yeah, we say living room near you. Yeah, so Valve's working on a new console. You know, a lot of information is not really out there. Speak a lot of speculation, I should say.

SPEAKER_04:

Well, the speculation of the price, basically.

SPEAKER_05:

Well, the price, but from what we understand, is that this is gonna be higher than the PS5 Pro accordingly.

SPEAKER_04:

No, I I I've I've heard I heard less.

SPEAKER_05:

That was recent. This is recent, actually. Recently saying that? Yeah, yeah. The prior to that they're saying no, but now they're saying it's gonna be higher than PS5 Pro. That's why people are thinking the price is gonna be crazy exorbit. So that's why people are like uh starting to get worried. But before we get into that, who's Valve? Valve right now is popular for what right now?

SPEAKER_04:

Steam Deck.

SPEAKER_05:

So they know for the Steam Deck. They dropped a new generation of Steam Decks uh earlier this year, right? When they dropped the OLED, the a lot of the OLED fletches and the other things.

SPEAKER_04:

That was last year.

SPEAKER_05:

Well, last year they dropped it, yeah. It was last year they dropped the OLEDs. Damn, time flies. Okay, so my bad. They dropped those. Because before it was the L C D's, not to the OLEDs. And then people were thinking that they're gonna be a part two Steam Deck, but they wasn't. But despite that, there's going strong. I would say out of the two major uh known consoles and handhelds, they're probably the number one. What you talking about handhelds? Handhelds, yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

After the butt, there's so many handhelds nowadays. The PCs, but I think that they're but I think they're they're probably the more I think the more affordable, more popular options. More popular.

SPEAKER_05:

That's the way I could I couldn't find it.

SPEAKER_04:

And you would say mindset, you know.

SPEAKER_05:

Yeah, but there are tens tons and tons of them out there, like you said. But so that's what they're known for right now, and they have a lot of great success and a lot of great reviews for Body. We we've we've over the shows spoken about how great it's a good idea. Yeah, Mr.

SPEAKER_04:

Mason still dreamed about getting one.

SPEAKER_05:

I am, I am.

SPEAKER_04:

But yeah.

SPEAKER_05:

But uh, but now they're coming back with a part two, and I say part two because their first iteration of a console happened in 2015, Mr.

SPEAKER_04:

Amazon. Yeah, and that was not uh it was it was not a success. It w it died, but well, we'll say Mortal Kombat uh fatality. Pretty much. Um the Nintendo uh Xbox PlayStation knocked out of the box. It depended a lot on Linux, and at that time, Linux was not a main operation system that was really performing well with games at that time. But Mr. Amazon, Linux working well now on the Steam Deck.

SPEAKER_05:

Absolutely, yeah. So now they're like, well, go around, and I think they find this is the perfect opportunity to jump in the game. And I think it is actually if they're gonna jump in the game, because you're gonna be like, Damn, they did well with the Steam Deck, so why can't they do good with this? Then you're gonna be like, damn, Xbox is not pushing like as we think it is. This is this, I think this is the time. We can do Xbox, we can overcome Xbox. Well, let me think when we think of the design. It's like a GameCube to me. It looks like a GameCube slash Xbox.

SPEAKER_04:

It looks like it looks like a half of uh half of Xbox.

SPEAKER_05:

Um, Xbox was like, damn it! That was all the design we were gonna do. It was like Xbox slash GameCube to me, to be honest with you.

SPEAKER_04:

Uh and I looked at um because the front cover you actually change. That's cool. With the designs. I think that's very cool.

SPEAKER_05:

Yeah, it gives you uh personal creativity.

SPEAKER_04:

Uh the controls look very good. Of course, a lot of people control is very cool. Very bulky. Well, you got kids' hands. You're a grown man hands, don't you, Mr.

SPEAKER_05:

Maze? Yeah, but it's bulky to me. It looks like it looks like an extended dreamcast controller to me, personally. It wasn't, but like the shape of it looks like a dreamcast controller to me. It's like that long. It has like that little.

SPEAKER_04:

Maybe I will say maybe the um is that the the Doom controller back in the days?

SPEAKER_05:

I know you're talking about too. You can say that.

SPEAKER_04:

You say that, but I wouldn't think of that. Like I said, we have to feel we have to get our hands on ourselves to fill the cause a lot of people talking about that when um I forgot the guy's name. I want to give him credit. That when he when he went in person um with Val and talked about it, the price, he was saying console level what pricing, I believe he said 500.

SPEAKER_05:

Um, 500 if it's gonna be competitive with the current.

SPEAKER_04:

That's that's that was a dream.

SPEAKER_05:

Yeah, but that's not gonna happen.

SPEAKER_04:

Kanoma, Val is not as big as Xbox, Nintendo, or PlayStation, where they could suck up the course for a year or for two years until the console comes profitable.

SPEAKER_05:

Yeah, I agree. But I think if they want to get in there on the market price, that's the price they gotta try to keep it at that level. But this is gonna be a powerful system. This is the rubber's aren't it's it's powerful to PS5, more power to PC, PS5 or PS Pro's. PS5 Pro, excuse me. So you already know that's gonna be north of over 700, 800. You ask me for my opinion, I think you're looking at an 800 console.

SPEAKER_04:

I would say$100.

SPEAKER_05:

I think that's with different iterations. I think 800 being a basic with a high chair, I have a thousand. Half a terabyte? I think you get a terabyte with the 800, actually. I don't think so. I think you do. I think you get it. Because the way games are now, I think you gotta get it. I think nothing, nothing other it should nothing should be under a terabyte to me now.

SPEAKER_04:

Well, we're talking about the 81 still Steam Deck, it was one of a half a terabyte?

SPEAKER_05:

It was, but that's but that's a handheld. We're talking about console now. Well, no man. You gotta come correct, man. Yeah, but like even the new Xbox generation. I I don't think nothing should be less than a terabyte. I mean, uh uh yeah, terabyte.

SPEAKER_04:

Uh but me, you talk about I don't I think a terabyte is not enough.

SPEAKER_05:

It's not, but that's I think two terabytes. Oh, agree, and that's why I think nothing should be less than a terabyte. Yeah. My phone goes through that now. Come on.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, I think nowadays we need two terabytes.

SPEAKER_05:

Yeah, two terabytes is what I would prefer. Minimum. But I think minimum is gonna be one, to be honest with you. Yeah, keep the price low. You put two terabytes there. That's it's$250. Give a take. Give a take. But um, do you have do you want to take a shot at the price yet?

SPEAKER_04:

Oh, I say uh the low end 700, high end a thousand. Do you think it's the right time for them to come out? Oh, this Xbox is dying.

SPEAKER_05:

Oh, that's exactly what I think, too. I think this is the perfect time for them to come out.

SPEAKER_04:

Xbox dying is Xbox hanging in there.

SPEAKER_05:

They're hanging in there, but you got Val coming out, who was coming with a success story uh with their handheld. They're like, yo, we did really good. So why not? Why can't we do the console? And then we can take Xbox spot.

SPEAKER_04:

But the thing with Val is that I would say right now, if they only sell it at their own store. That's what I want to know. I think it's a bad idea. You gotta be able to go everywhere to pick that up. But like it's they want to make their, they want to get all the money. They want to get all the bags, the whole bag.

SPEAKER_05:

I don't know what the window for this gate, this system's to come out yet. I have nothing.

SPEAKER_04:

No, no, it'll come out next year, early next year.

SPEAKER_05:

Oh, it's early next year? Yeah. Oh, so that's a good wind, that's a great window, actually. So that's when you come out in March? Let's say March, March to April?

SPEAKER_04:

At the same time as Then the Switch came out, right? The first one. Then it came out March the first one.

SPEAKER_05:

That's the first switch you're talking about. First switch. The first one came.

SPEAKER_04:

The first switch came on March.

SPEAKER_05:

So I think that's a good way, that's a good window to come out because you you come out that window, you could eat up a lot of the market. Because Sbox is projected what is it, full 2026 of 2027, right?

SPEAKER_04:

2027.

SPEAKER_05:

Yeah, so then then you're perfect. You're projected in a lot of that market space, it'll be you and pretty much the tender taking turns selling your consoles.

SPEAKER_04:

Well, no, you just see the yo the tender, but I mean PlayStation.

SPEAKER_05:

I don't know if they're gonna be there. I mean, they're they they sold their console, but like I'm talking about making selling more units. I think those are the two if the Steam that's what comes out.

SPEAKER_04:

Well, you're making a claim that PlayStation is not gonna sell any more consoles.

SPEAKER_05:

No, no, no, no, no, no, no. What I mean by that, I'm talking about uh cells, like the moving more cells. I think it's gonna be Nintendo because Nintendo's younger. I guess PlayStation's gonna still sell. I'm not saying they're gonna do very well, but they're not gonna sell more units than the Switch and this new console because they don't have as they've already been around for less than a year. So they got more units to move to get to.

SPEAKER_04:

I just don't think Valve's gonna be doing they're gonna be niche.

SPEAKER_05:

I don't think they're gonna be niche because they're already they could they they already proven they can they can they can they can hang. I don't think it's gonna be a niche.

SPEAKER_04:

Hang what you mean Miss Maiden. Let's let's go let's stop exaggerating. Yeah, like the exaggerate, yes, it's successful. Yes, a handheld. Yes, let me tell you something.

SPEAKER_05:

No, I just agree.

SPEAKER_04:

No, Mr. May, you paid all the handles that sold massively. All you trying to tell me that's gonna kick Nintendo DS business. Why people talk about yes, and successful in Valve's little little niche?

SPEAKER_05:

Overall, no. No, okay, you gotta understand. I don't think Valve's gonna do is gonna go that bad. I think Valve's realistic goal is Xbox. I think they're gonna they're going after the throne Xbox. I think they wanna be that third system. I don't think they're gonna catch the PlayStation at all. I don't think they're gonna catch the Nintendo either. But I do think they can catch the Xbox. I really think they're because they and they're PC based too. So it's like you know, we can we can we'll go for Xbox's number. And I think eventually, I mean project eventually Xbox Game Price is gonna be on there too, Michael. Xbox Game is gonna be on there. I think they they know who they're going after. They they know, they know the market's wide open. Put it this way. What happened to the uh the KFC console? We never heard of it. Apple's console, we never heard of it. What's this another console that's supposed to come out that we never heard of?

SPEAKER_04:

Well, one thing we have Apple Arcade. That's their version of Console. Oh yeah, but uh Oula, ooh, that's what it was, right? Ooh, it was that last console died. Remember, remember um Google was getting into it.

SPEAKER_05:

Yes. Wasn't Tari gonna make a new console too, I remember at one point?

SPEAKER_04:

I know Tari, they're coming out with console, but those are old.

SPEAKER_05:

No, no, no, not the old one, but they didn't want to get into it.

SPEAKER_04:

No, it was the old flashbacks.

SPEAKER_05:

Oh, okay, then I apologize. But it's someone else that's supposed to make a console. I can't remember who it was, though.

SPEAKER_04:

I don't know who else.

SPEAKER_05:

I can't remember who it was.

SPEAKER_04:

I don't know who else is gonna make a console.

SPEAKER_05:

You still hyped for the KFC one?

SPEAKER_04:

I didn't be hyped up for that. We didn't believe you. They need more people.

SPEAKER_05:

Yeah, we did. We didn't buy it too.

SPEAKER_04:

I was like, who the heck is gonna buy this?

SPEAKER_05:

Well, it ain't coming out anytime. So I don't think it's it's not coming out, period.

SPEAKER_04:

I try to look, I try to look, I try to look at the the Twitter count. There's nothing there. The couch is outdated. It's a joke. It's a joke. It's a joke. You know what I'm saying? I mean, uh how much did the controllers go cost? You more two.

SPEAKER_05:

That coach that country will look serious. That's a hundred bucks. Yeah, that's the same price I was gonna say. I think I said, that's a hundred bucks. Because the titles go off for 80 bucks, so I don't see why. I think it's a hundred ninety-nine, ninety nine. But but something else too. It was the console, the controller, uh, what am I saying? The V the headset, right?

SPEAKER_04:

Well, we don't talk about the headset right now. Well, come on, I think VR, but I didn't mention it, but VR, let's keep it wrong. I still have a VR. I've been playing a while. I mean, am I supposed to mean you're supposed to hook up uh well mean you're supposed to hook up and play the VR? So get an example. It's pretty well, I played it, it's pretty good. Even the last one. I drew the last one. You got that? You still traded it. Nah, you traded. Nah, I rarely trade. I only think I trade mostly like games I don't play on don't play. I mean games I rarely play, or don't play them when I have no interest of playing again, or I beat already, then have no interest going back, you know what I'm saying? But most I games I keep, you know, so I literally trade them at GameStop, get store credit, or when it's like a big game that comes out, where you get extra 10% or 20% towards the game you purchase with the trade in.

SPEAKER_05:

Yeah. Okay, fair enough.

SPEAKER_04:

But um like a like we discussed it before, the VR trade has derailed. But when the pandemic hit, that's for the derailed.

unknown:

Okay.

SPEAKER_04:

Remember the book, remember the VR store in Manhattan? That was popping.

SPEAKER_05:

Well, the COVID. COVID got rid of that. Well, I don't want to give names up, but we knew I I knew the owner was. I knew the owner was. So what asked the question were we gonna get hooked up? He did, he was hooking us all up.

unknown:

Okay.

SPEAKER_05:

He was giving us all free passes to go. He hit the lot of the job with it. What's up with us, man? Game of traffic show. Yeah, but it died with the COVID. It's unfortunate.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, so remember the it was a place of Connecticut post-none of you all event. And we talked about the show.

SPEAKER_05:

They have one by the by Horace Harding, right? That a whole VR world there, too. It wasn't as big, but it they had one. It still exists? I doubt it. Dead before COVID. Dead. I'm sure it's dead.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, it's dead. You know what I'm saying? But I mean, the key thing with vow is is gonna be the pricing.

SPEAKER_05:

Of course.

SPEAKER_04:

I would say games, but they got Steam or Steam, they were better playing a game.

SPEAKER_05:

They can be games.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, so that's the key point is the pricing. And I wonder how they're gonna advertise it. Because everybody's gonna not, everybody's gonna know about it if it's only at the vowel store.

SPEAKER_05:

That's my problem. I think you can't go to the valve store. Or if you do decide you want to start with the vial store, maybe they can exclude stuff off like the first two, three months, and then after that, open it to other retailers.

SPEAKER_04:

But like what happens when you when it's retail, what happens?

SPEAKER_05:

What happens?

SPEAKER_04:

They get cut.

SPEAKER_05:

Or the price won't say, Hey, you want to move units, right? You gotta move units.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, so if Val's not as big as Sony and Nintendo, and Michael's.

SPEAKER_05:

That's not the competitive, they know that already.

SPEAKER_04:

So why but why so they're not gonna they're not gonna go to the stores? They will. No, they won't.

SPEAKER_05:

They gotta move units, Michael. They're not gonna sell units at the end.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, but then they got they still gotta pay bills. Yeah, they're gonna go for employees.

SPEAKER_05:

You make it exclusive for the first three to three to six months, exclusive to the government and open it to the rest of the world.

SPEAKER_04:

That you might surprise me.

SPEAKER_05:

But remember, they did that with they did that with the whole generation of the uh of the Steam Deck. They opened up to other stores. Wait, you know, California. Remember, California. In California, they were selling in the regular stores. Certain states weren't though.

SPEAKER_04:

In California, they were slinging in stores. Like 40, like the rest of the 49 states they sell in it. That's why I mean only thing you say, like gays I would say used ones.

SPEAKER_05:

Yeah, games I would sell used ones, yeah. But California had them in stores, I remember.

SPEAKER_04:

Oh, okay. Okay, Mr. Mason. But Mr. Mason, let's move on. Anything else to say about this topic? No, but looking forward. All right, Mr. Mason. Let's talk about LA Times and reported that Netflix is again investing in video games, Mr. Mason.

unknown:

That's what you get from me.

SPEAKER_05:

Wow, wow, wow.

SPEAKER_04:

Damn, Mr. Mason. I mean, come on, Miss Mason, they're the king of streaming.

SPEAKER_05:

Yeah, but I mean I want to play games on that on Netflix, though. I mean, keep it to what it but keep it to what you're good. Remember, when these streams the uh services start doing too much, I feel like that's also key to the downfall. Keep it to what you do best. Stream a good movie, stream a good comedy, stream a good documentary.

SPEAKER_04:

That's what they gotta do. But a lot of people might a lot of people don't know. Netflix has been in the game industry for the past four years, and those have been mid. Let's just keep 100.

SPEAKER_05:

Have you ever kicked yourself like yo' please give up Netflix?

SPEAKER_04:

But the Netflix games were mainly on mobile.

SPEAKER_05:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

And mobile.

SPEAKER_05:

Once again, have you played, let me go Dallas, Netflix play? But we're not, I'm not the kind of person who's interested in playing mobile games. But that means I don't think it attracts a hardcore gamer. It's for your average fan that's on the train, on a railroad, on a business trip, killing time. That's who they're who they that's who they cater to. So I don't care to be honest with you, man. But do you? I'm not mad at you getting the money. I'm not mad.

SPEAKER_04:

I mean, like I said, I but like I said, it's this is basically gonna focus outside of the realm of uh what you call mobile games. They're gonna focus on games like they said, Grand Theft Auto. Oh, that's big. You're telling me that part. You gotta start with that, man. What's up for what? News like that. So they're gonna do a lot of, they're trying to do a lot of stuff. And the games will include, let's say, Mr. Amazon. Let's look it up, Mr. Amazon. The games that will include. These are mobile exclusives? No, they'll be on Netflix. So you gotta do it. Um you want? No, it's your uh iPhone, I believe.

SPEAKER_05:

That is not appealing to me. I I just no buttons.

SPEAKER_04:

I like physicality, but go ahead. Game night, we'll start with yo Nintendo game game night. Mr. Man Nintendo, sorry. Game night. Lego party, baby. Pass.

SPEAKER_05:

What? Pass. You don't mind a Lego guy. Pass.

SPEAKER_04:

Come on, Mr. Mason.

SPEAKER_05:

What else you got for me? Tetris. Tom What? I like Tetris. It's fun. Okay, you got me there. Dictionary. I think it's a kind of fun, actually. I think it could be fun. Fam with family friendly, friendly game night. That's okay. You got it. Okay, give me that.

SPEAKER_04:

Okay. Boogaloo party.

SPEAKER_05:

No idea what that is. Pass! Mr. Mason. You gotta give it a chance, Mr. Mason. Pass! The name already told me to pass.

SPEAKER_04:

Damn, Mr. Mason. Why why are you doing that?

SPEAKER_05:

Because I don't like the name Boogaloo.

SPEAKER_04:

But the Grand Theft Auto game is a mobile game.

SPEAKER_05:

Some old version. I mean it's gonna suck a bit.

SPEAKER_04:

It's it's San Andreas.

SPEAKER_05:

Oh, okay. That's good. I got it.

SPEAKER_04:

That was that was a I thought you think all Grand Theft Auto five or six is coming to.

SPEAKER_05:

Let me clarify that. It's a mobile game. Let's get there from the Cisco. We're not gonna get to 2030. So I'm happy Saint Andres.

SPEAKER_04:

It is a mobile game. And it's also a popular game on uh Netflix mobile. So basically, you're gonna say, if I look at what the LA Times said, we got Def Auto San Andreas, what came on the platform December 2023 had achieved Mr. May 44 million downloads, Mr. May. Wow, that's good. And also, the streaming service also raised uh released the original content of multiplayer party title game, Squid Game, was based on what Mr. Maze went the Netflix with the Netflix series. Squid Show? Yes.

SPEAKER_05:

Yes. Yeah. What was it? What's it called? Squid Games. Oh my god. I didn't watch season two. Me too. I didn't saw season one. I saw season one. I know everybody's hyped on it. I wasn't hyped on it like that. I don't know why. I like season one. I just think I wasn't hyped on it. It's one of the shows you just like, we just need to end it, that we're good. I'm good. I wasn't hyped. I mean, I saw it because everybody, their mom was watching, so I was like, we watch it. But I wasn't, I didn't I didn't have that fever everyone yet.

SPEAKER_04:

I guess it was just me. I don't know. I couldn't go back. I I guess you have a really desperate situation. Maybe, but like I said, it's not like you're just the second, the first, second, third place. It's just you. You know you is, you know what I'm saying. If you ain't number one, you're dead.

SPEAKER_05:

Number one, two, three, four, and five.

SPEAKER_04:

You're dead. But so, Ms. Mason, I guess you're not impressed.

SPEAKER_05:

No, not really. No, not really. But but I'm not impressed, but they have impressive numbers, though. I didn't know 45 million sells of the uh Grand Theft Auto, that's good. So I guess they're moving units.

SPEAKER_04:

I mean, okay, according to LA Times, uh, since they've been working very hard in the game divisions, the number of downloads and Netflix games had increased by 17%, Mr. Mason.

SPEAKER_05:

That's good. I just wish with these num uh additional um income, they would have been raised to damn subscription prices. But I digress.

SPEAKER_04:

But the company also removed Mr. Mason to um what's it? They release 142 games. Well only 78 are still active. Wow. This is October.

SPEAKER_05:

142 games they release and only 78 is active. That's a that's a little under half.

SPEAKER_04:

It's about like 44, 45%. So, Mr. Amazon. So I assume you're not hyped up about Netflix.

SPEAKER_05:

No, no, I'm not. Like I said, my Netflix is for my drama, my action, my comedy.

SPEAKER_04:

Okay. I mean, I'm like I said, I'm not hyped up about it.

SPEAKER_05:

There you go.

SPEAKER_04:

I'm not hyped up about it.

SPEAKER_05:

Join the train.

SPEAKER_04:

All right, Mr. Mason. Ooh, wee. Are you sure? You sure, Miss Bug? Give you another chance. You sure?

SPEAKER_05:

Positive.

SPEAKER_04:

Sure. All right. All right, everybody. We're going to the trail of the week, Mr. Mason. And the trail of the week is Crime 101, Mr. Mason. All right. Let's hit it.

SPEAKER_05:

Yeah. Ooh, let's go to good-looking people.

SPEAKER_07:

Mike.

SPEAKER_03:

Sharon. So what are we driving?

SPEAKER_07:

Chief guess I'll give you the keys to it.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, Chevy Chavet. Racing Green.

SPEAKER_07:

Right, colour.

SPEAKER_03:

That is a beautiful car. I need to be in your line.

SPEAKER_02:

Look at the first one.

SPEAKER_07:

Yeah, it's a few people should be a partner.

SPEAKER_06:

Why does that guy think help me for getting close? I know. Nice car. You know the cars? Yeah, I prefer the old American ones. It's the dream of having a mustang. Steve McQueen. You ever seen a Thomas Crown for him? He's a high class thief in it.

SPEAKER_07:

There comes a moment when you realize you don't have as much time as you thought you had.

SPEAKER_04:

Mr. Mason, Crime 101, star of Hollyberry, Chris Hemsworth, and Mark Buffalo. And Nick Dolte. Who's still still getting actor jobs?

SPEAKER_05:

What's wrong at that tender age?

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, Mr. Mason. It's supposed to come out this September coming up. And do you green light it? Red light it? Y'all like this trail, Mr. Mason?

SPEAKER_05:

I've seen this before, you know. I mean several different genres of it, but um I'll give it green because I like the actors on there.

SPEAKER_04:

Okay.

SPEAKER_05:

Excuse me.

SPEAKER_04:

Bless you, bless you.

SPEAKER_05:

Sorry, pardon me, yo. Yeah, it looks like uh remind me a little bit.

SPEAKER_04:

It also reminds me of Transporter.

SPEAKER_05:

Transporter, Lupin. Remember all that, all that stuff mixed in there. Uh, but I'll still see it. Because, you know, despite something we've seen before, it's how you do it, how you present it, and who the actors are that makes the movie. So I agree like it. How about you?

SPEAKER_04:

It's coming on a good time February. Yeah, February.

SPEAKER_05:

It's a perfect time. It's a good movie to take your day. Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

So I'll I'm gonna yell out again. I'm sorry. I gotta be very cautious. Uh Mark Buffalo's playing the same character you always play. But that's what makes him good at it. I mean, I mean, you know what I mean basically you're really good at it. You just think you stay a stereotype type guy. But I can say Sadh Harley Berry playing the six the sexy uh Charlotte. So, you know, say Chris Boyle played the boy, you know, the muscular hero or whatever. So I can say I can say all that. Um, but he I but like you know, but I don't know. I'm very cautious about this. We see this formula for this former formula in movies before. Is it gonna work this time? What makes this movie different than other people?

SPEAKER_05:

That's why I said I said we see this before. And I think but the actors they got is gonna make it different. These are good actors you got. These are pretty these are almost all A-list, Michael.

SPEAKER_04:

Almost. Well, not only all two are for sure, but all right, Mr. Mason. You green light. I yell lightly, Mr. Mason. Yes, sir. Mr. Mason, let's go to our suit topic of the suicide care topic of the week, Mr. Mason. It was announced recently, November 21st, they will release a cheaper Japanese PlayStation 5 console. The digital version, Mr. Mason, if you translate in American dollars, it will possibly cost$354. How much?$354. That's good. Yeah, you see, you pause you like how much? Yes, yes. While Americans pay, what,$500,$500? Yeah. But due to a lot of sales, people pay, I think it was when you said Toby one of the sales like$350, people fame. Yeah, you would say, yeah. Yeah, during Black Friday, during the Chris. So I think it's like the best time, really, to buy our gaming count, especially a PS PS5. I think the best time to get it.

SPEAKER_05:

Yeah, yeah, absolutely. Oh, you know what? I forgot to mention also, I think uh in the prior topics, I'll mention real quick for those who are interested. The old models of the uh Steam Decks, you can find it gonna be, I think, 20% off on Black Friday. So good luck.

SPEAKER_04:

I mean, you don't you don't want you the one's more interested in Steam Deck than anybody else right now.

SPEAKER_00:

True that.

SPEAKER_04:

But uh, Mr. Maze, what do you think about this? Because I believe PlayStation is doing this to anybody who's reported it, the PlayStation is doing this because they're all losing in the Japanese market to Nintendo Switch.

SPEAKER_05:

Yeah, well, I think Nintendo's popular enough. It's gonna move. Not to say PlayStation's gonna stop selling, but Nintendo's gonna sell more because they got a bigger market attack. Uh, it's a good deal, it's a good incentive, and especially when you have Nintendo that's hot, it's on fire right now. How do you get some of that momentum back? You drop the price and you make it exclusive to your region. So I think that's a great idea.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, I mean, according to the Japanese chart gauge of Femitsu, estimate the lifetime sale of the PS5 versus the Switch 2 sales, current sales. This uh Switch 2 has shipped over 260 million units in Japan since releasing in June of this year.

unknown:

Wow.

SPEAKER_04:

Compared to a PlayStation model, it was included the PlayStation Pro, has got a total of 7 million consoles since 2020. Really? Yes.

SPEAKER_05:

That's a massacre. But it's not it's a massacre, but it's not surprising. That's supposed to be that way.

SPEAKER_04:

Because like I said, uh like I said in previous um podcast, um, Sony's been focused really on the Western.

SPEAKER_05:

Yeah, they have.

unknown:

They have.

SPEAKER_04:

So, should we care a lot? A little? Not all, Mr. Mason. Because a lot of people ticked off. We're not getting that cheap price. And you can't give us both. And you can't import it. It's in it's only in Japanese. Yeah. You know, only gonna lose power, uh, Japanese power sources, no power source import.

SPEAKER_05:

So all those who had a trip coming up in Japan on that time frame, don't even think about it.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, don't think of buying it, go to Japan and chill, hang out, have some fun. But don't think you'll be in a P uh on uh Japanese PS5 home with you, expect it to work.

SPEAKER_05:

Exactly.

SPEAKER_04:

So, Mr. Mason, do you care a lot? A little, not at all.

SPEAKER_05:

Uh, a little.

SPEAKER_04:

Because people are bit people are upset about the prices, Mr. Mason.

SPEAKER_05:

Yeah, I uh I care a little bit on a stress that is that Xbox is taking care of, I mean, excuse me, PlayStation is taking care of the people here too. They got they got specials coming for the Black Friday and uh Friday season. They they they they knew this would piss people off. So how do we counter that? Make bundles, make a 350 uh like we spoke about.

SPEAKER_04:

Like they're doing they're doing justice to us too. I'm not bitching. But like I said, um in the previous part, remember I was saying the price like Mr. Mays, there'll be a price cut Black Friday, it'll be it'll be back to either normal. Price or below um the normal price they had before, before the price hike. And also that Fortnite bundle is really good.

SPEAKER_05:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. That is a good price, actually.

SPEAKER_04:

And also, if you're in the PS Plus, that pre-ma's excellent. It's only$107 for premium.

SPEAKER_05:

That's good. I didn't know that.

SPEAKER_04:

The sale ends December 5th. You got it? Nah, I'm gonna get it.

SPEAKER_05:

Yeah, it's worth it. You got a bunch of week ago.

SPEAKER_04:

Well, Mr. Mason, I gotta show you.

SPEAKER_05:

Uh oh.

SPEAKER_04:

I gotta show you. Hold on tight.

SPEAKER_05:

Thank you. So Mike is entering the room with something he wants to show me. What is it that you want to show Mike? Should I pay the dribble? I broke down. Oh this guy, Mike, went and purchased a PS portal. It's very light, actually. It's not bad. It's my first time holding one. I mean, outside of being in the box.

SPEAKER_04:

Looks good. Where'd you get this? I got it last Saturday.

SPEAKER_05:

Is it uh I got it for 179? Wasn't it?

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, 179.

SPEAKER_05:

That's the price that was gonna go for it.

SPEAKER_04:

I was trying to get it, I was trying to wait and wait to get it for one. They say it might be 150 in a PlayStation store.

SPEAKER_05:

Oh, oh, but you have to wait then.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05:

So am I are you connected to anything on this? Yeah, my PlayStation. Your PlayStation is connected to this.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05:

So for those who haven't touched it like me. Oh, nice. And then was it easier to connect it to set the connection up? Yeah. So my thing is why is it not moving? Like, why am I why am I not able to go to the games? I was trying to go back to the games. It feels good actually. I can't lie. It's not bad. Better than I expected. Because they did recently, we we spoke on our last show. You can now play without without needing the direct connection. You could cloud cloud store.

SPEAKER_04:

They said disconnected from the PS.

SPEAKER_05:

That's what I was like, I don't see it. So Mike budged, he got it. I'm liking it actually, Mike. But I'm surprised by you though, because you're not a handheld person.

SPEAKER_04:

Not really.

SPEAKER_05:

Did you go to a store and had no plants and I was just looking at you?

SPEAKER_04:

Let me go try it out.

SPEAKER_05:

Are you taking it anywhere? To play with? Oh okay. I thought maybe you might take it to work on your lunch break. We always do things on our lunch break. Went to go look. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Welcome.

SPEAKER_05:

My question to you though is if I'm moving here, is it moving over there?

SPEAKER_04:

No. It's the console she on. It counts as an arrest mode.

SPEAKER_05:

Okay. I feel like it's lagging, to be honest with you.

SPEAKER_04:

It's lagging, yeah.

SPEAKER_05:

But why? Why is it lagging?

SPEAKER_04:

I was closer. It was not lagging while I was close to the console.

SPEAKER_05:

Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05:

Is it is it hearing hearing it?

SPEAKER_04:

Let me see.

SPEAKER_05:

Because it sounds like your your TV, your TV screen.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05:

Is it moving? That's what I'd say. I'm like, that's why. That's why. That makes sense.

SPEAKER_04:

Two weeks.

SPEAKER_05:

Damn, Mike, you make me want to get one too. It looks good though. But I gotta I gotta get closer to something to look at. I can't wait to play with it. It looks nice though. I like it. Maybe I should go for my son for his birthday. Alright, Mr. Mason. Yep. He budge, y'all. I budged. He just put some money in PlayStation's pocket, y'all. Yo. Thank you, Sony says said.

SPEAKER_04:

This is not sponsored by PlayStation. But if you do want to work on the sponsor show, my stance is open.

SPEAKER_05:

I've been working on my uh promo voice too.

SPEAKER_04:

Alright, people. This is the Game of Traffic Show. Yeah, um, and oh, Mr. Mason. Any shout-outs for this week?

SPEAKER_05:

Any shout-outs for this week? I feel like I had somebody to shout out. Damn. Uh damn, I don't know who I'm gonna give a shout out to. Do you have one?

SPEAKER_04:

Not right now, Mr. Mason.

SPEAKER_05:

Not right now.

SPEAKER_04:

The topic I'm gonna talk about in the next Game of Traffic Show, but we'll save for now. But everybody, enjoy the Thanksgiving.

SPEAKER_05:

I don't got a shout-out, but I got somebody I hate for this week. Well it's not a real person, though. What are you talking about? I have to say this, Michael, because I've been playing something for seven straight hours. Okay. Seven straight hours. I don't know who the hell decide they want to make the guy the hardest goddamn guy in the goddamn Ghost of Yuti. Take a Zoe, the unrivaled. He's not even he's a side mission, but he's hard. And I I've been reading, I've been trying to figure out how to beat this guy on YouTube. There's tons of videos of it. And everybody that that's beaten it has said this. A lot of them said, I had to learn a difficulty level. I'm not doing that, y'all. I won't beat him on the living level I've been playing on. He's the hardest guy. F you go th for making this guy so freaking hard. Seven hours strong. Hopefully, by next the next show, I beat him by. I just have to say that, but I've been so upset with this guy. I'm losing sleep because of this guy, literally. Literally slept two hours last night because of this guy. But that's just my riff today. I had to let that out.

SPEAKER_04:

That was that was the game of traffic rant, everybody.

SPEAKER_05:

Yes, it was. Alright, everybody. And people who live in America, enjoy your Thanksgiving. Yeah, happy Thanksgiving to all. And you know, enjoy what you love once. If you're in a good position, please help someone else that you know. You never know who might be hungry. I'm hungry. I should say hungry, but you never know someone in need, I should say.

SPEAKER_04:

All right, Mr. Basin.

SPEAKER_05:

All right, this is the Game of Travel Show. We out. Peace. Take care, peace, y'all.
