HEY!! My name is Melissa, a woman living every day with CRPS.I am married to my AWESOME husband Tommy, have 2 beautiful children Jeffery & Serena and I have 5 pups <3Pogo, Sadie, Randall, Ru & Raja. Did I say make you laugh :DA little about CRPS, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), also called Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome (RSD), is a chronic pain condition in which high levels of nerve impulses are sent to an affected site. Experts believe that CRPS occurs as a result of dysfunction in the central or peripheral nervous systems. CRPS / RSD is classed as the most painful chronic pain condition that is known. It reaches approx. 42 out of 50 on the McGill Pain Scale, higher than non-terminal cancer, higher than amputation of a finger without anesthesia… In some research it has been said that CRPS Type II can reach as high as 47 out of 50.There is no cure for CRPS.
