Episode 056 - From Surviving to Thriving During COVID w/ Hayden & Jake Wadsworth (HydroJug)
Founders Hayden & Jake Wadsworth started HydroJug just a few years ago, sensing an opportunity that wasn't being seized despite the large potential market size. Jake was finishing up college, while Hayden was working a full-time job, and they threw their life savings at an overseas manufacturer, not knowing if they would ever see it again. Luckily things worked well for them, and with lots of hard work and product iterations, they developed one of the most popular large water bottles on the market.
Since starting they have reached 8 figures in annual revenue, have moved into new offices, and have grown to have close to 100 employees. But the surprising thing is that they were able to do all of this during a time when COVID hit and ruined many other companies. I believe it's because of their outlook on failure and life challenges and how they apply it to life and business, which you can hear in this week's episode of Freedom to Fail.
