Helloooo everyone, bonjour tout le monde. 💖 Welcome back to the French Made Easy podcast, this is episode number 105, numéro 105! 

Today we are doing some conjugation! If you've been following the podcast for a while, you know that I really insist on you learning the most common irregular verbs by heart, so that's what we are doing today. 

So in this episode, we will learn the French verb "aller" which means "to go" conjugated in the future tense and, more precisely, the simple future tense. So "I will go, you will go etc."

Before we start, if you're new here, make sure you have your lesson's cheat sheet in front of you so you can see the words while listening to the lesson. Now, we already learned the conjugation in the present tense of that verb back many, many episodes ago, on episode number 23, so if you haven't listened to that one yet, start with episode 23.  

Alright, let's see the future tense (simple future tense) conjugation of "aller" (to go), and we'll see some examples in a few minutes.

Répétez après moi, repeat after me. 

• j'irai (I will go)
• tu iras (you will go, singular informal)
• il ira (he will go)
• elle ira (she will go)
• on ira (we will go, informal)
• nous irons (we will go)
• vous irez (you will go, plural or singular formal)
• ils iront (they will go, masculine)
• elles iront (they will go, feminine)

OK well done. Now let's see some examples. I'm going to reuse similar examples as episode 23 with the present tense conjugation. So it's easier.

• J'irai au supermarché plus tard. (I will go to the supermarket later.)
• Tu iras quand à la plage ? (When will you go to the beach?) 🏖
• Il ira à la bibliothèque cet après-midi. (He will go to the library this afternoon.) 📚
• Elle ira à la piscine demain matin. (She will go to the pool tomorrow morning.) 🏊‍♀️
• On ira au restaurant samedi soir. (We will go to the restaurant on Saturday night.)
• Nous irons bientôt au parc. (We will go to the park soon.)
• Vous irez où en vacances ? (Where will you go on vacation?)
• Ils iront au cinéma ce week-end. (They will go to the cinema on the weekend.) 🍿
• Elles iront à l'école lundi matin. (They will go to school on Monday morning.)
