Let’s get into it, we have 7 shapes, plus example sentences! Make sure you repeat after me so you can also practice your pronunciation.
- le cercle 🔵 (circle)
- Il a dessiné un cercle sur le papier. (He drew a circle on the paper.)
- le carré ◼️ (square)
- Le carré a quatre côtés égaux. (The square has four equal sides.)
- le triangle 🔺 (triangle)
- Un triangle a trois côtés. (A triangle has three sides.)
- le rectangle ▭ (rectangle)
- Un rectangle a deux côtés longs et deux côtés courts. (A rectangle has two long sides and two short sides.)
- le losange 🔷 (diamond)
- Le losange ressemble à un carré incliné. (The diamond looks like a tilted square.)
- le cœur ❤️ (heart)
- Elle a un tatouage en forme de cœur. (She has a heart-shaped tattoo.)
- l’étoile ⭐️ (star)
- Une étoile a cinq branches. (The star has five points.)
