Example Sentences

Now let's put each one into a simple sentence. Repeat after me:

  • La vache donne du lait. (The cow gives milk.)
  • Le cochon se roule dans la boue. (The pig rolls in the mud.)
  • Le mouton a beaucoup de laine. (The sheep has a lot of wool.)
  • La chèvre mange de l'herbe. (The goat eats grass.)
  • Le cheval porte une selle. (The horse wears a saddle.)
  • L'âne marche lentement. (The donkey walks slowly.)
  • Le lapin mange une carotte. (The rabbit eats a carrot.)
