Gov. Jeb Bush: Broadband Internet is an Imperative, Not a Luxury

Jessica Denson Season 1 Episode 22

On this episode of Connected Nation, we talk with Jeb Bush, the former Governor of Florida, who in a recent opinion piece published by Slate pointed to high-speed internet (broadband) as “an imperative, not a luxury.”

We will explore how he believes the country can close the Digital Divide by taking a page out of history and looking at the success seen through a program during President Eisenhower’s administration.

“I see this as an incredible opportunity to allow people to live purposeful lives.” ~Gov. Jeb Bush
