Tracy Larkin-Thomason
Tracy Larkin-Thomason is a seasoned transportation leader serving as Director of the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT), a role she assumed in January 2023. With more than 35 years of experience in planning, engineering, operations, and administration, she leads NDOT’s mission to maintain and modernize the state’s extensive highway system.
Her career at NDOT began in 1987, with experience in right-of-way, roadway design, structural and traffic engineering, and maintenance she held leadership roles including Assistant Director of Planning and Deputy Director for Southern Nevada,
After retiring from NDOT in 2021, Larkin-Thomason broadened her national perspective as Senior Vice President of Program Development for the Intelligent Transportation Society of America, championing intelligent transportation systems.
