Brittany Welsh
Dr. Brittany Welch is an Advanced Study Program Postdoctoral Researcher at the National Science Foundation National Center for Atmospheric Research (NSF NCAR) in the Research Applications Laboratory (RAL). Her research uses high-resolution weather models (5 meters) to understand and predict the impacts of hazardous weather on automated and traditional surface and aerial transportation vehicles, and she develops decision-support tools for road weather transportation operations. Dr. Welch currently serves as Chair of the American Meteorological Society Road Weather and Technology Committee.
