Tony joined the United States Army (USA) as a Ranger in 2003 and served for 4 years, and then served a further 2 years in the California National Guard.
In this episode he talks about life growing up, joining the Army after seeing the devastation of 9/11, and what it was like completing the Ranger training through the Ranger Indoctrination Program (RIP).
Tony shares some of his experiences from Operation Red Wings II (Afghanistan) and the Battle of Ramadi (Iraq). He also shares his time in the California National Guard, Mental Health, and his book Leave No Man Behind: The Untold Story of the Rangers’ Unrelenting Search for Marcus Luttrell, the Navy SEAL Lone Survivor in Afghanistan.
