Well, hello there everybody. Um I am excited to be back uh for the podcast. I actually did not plan to relaunch until uh the beginning of April. However, there is a story that has uh been brought to my attention by some uh great friends, and I want to get this out there. So our first um big episode back is going to be launched on Sunday, March 15th. Um I'm still waiting on the on the on some responses from people and stuff like that because I'm not we've had some great people release some stories. Uh, if you want to check out the Chronicle and The Citrus Insider, um, they have shared some information on this, uh, as well as our page on Facebook and Instagram. If you want to go check um all of that out, please feel free. I will leave some links uh in the video below. Um, but I kind of wanted to do this video, number one, to bring awareness to this episode that I am doing, because we're not just reporting things. I dove deep and I went out and I tried to get as many answers um that I could, and people that were asking us um, well, why did this happen? How was this able to happen, etc.? So um look for that podcast coming out on March 15th. And unfortunately, I don't know that I'll be able to do it in a video. I'm going to try um because those of you that have been listening to me for quite some time know that we've always just been an audio only podcast, not um audio and video. And I was trying to turn over that new leaf, and I'm going to try and get it uh full video for everything. Um, but if you just bear with me, that'd be great. I am I am it, it's just me putting to doing the research, putting all of this together, it's just me. Um, so those of you that have been around, we have discussed um foster care, adoption, and mental health, and that's pretty much what I felt called to do. But after about a two and a half year hiatus, um I did a lot of growing, a lot of changing, a lot of reflection on the stories that I was able to share versus what I still need to share. Uh, so it's going to change just a little, not a lot. Um, it's still Graceful Truth Unscripted. I am going to be bringing stories. Um, we're going to be talking truth. We're going to be talking to people that have had issues, and I'm going to be sharing a lot of our stories that I did not feel comfortable sharing uh in the years previous. Um, I really only shared a lot of our story and how we ended up as a non-relative caregiver to our children. Um, now our children are older and a lot has changed, and a lot of the issues we were having has changed. So I'm going to be updating everybody on our family. I'm still going to be discussing foster care, adoption, um, mental health. That is a huge, huge, huge thing that I am an advocate for if you don't know that. Um, but we're also adding in anything to do with motherhood. So all the motherhood stories. So we will be continuing um with those stories, but we will also be adding some uh motherhood parenting uh podcasts to the mix because we all know some of some of these issues aren't just specific to uh foster and adoption children, uh, but they're they apply to everybody. So we're gonna be getting some stories out about that um and discussing family and all that good stuff. Uh, and then I'm also adding in some true crime stuff, uh, which is what this podcast is coming out. It's a true story, and it's a mother who now homeschools her children, that you know, aka me, um, who can fall vulnerable to this stuff if somebody didn't report it. So I'm gonna get into that whole story in the podcast itself, but we're gonna be doing true crime as well. Um, there's actually quite a few true crime stories that I have saved to um discuss. There's a story that I had recorded uh prior to finding out some information, like doing some more investigative work per se. I was going off just my initial instincts and my initial thoughts, and I will be sharing that part of it, but also coming back with now that I have all the facts. Um there's gonna be very, very few times that I discuss anything political. So um I know a lot of my uh base has asked me to share some political things and discuss certain cases, and if I feel that they fit, um I possibly will do that, but it's not something I'm going to focus on. So um I this is not a political podcast, that's my personal opinion, right? Like what I want to bring is these stories and information and questions, even from somebody who really has drastically changed from the first day I got my children until now, and I am more so in the protective mama thing, then that's not to say that something political won't come in, right? Um, I I can't guarantee that, but um every episode is going to be labeled properly for those that have not followed along. If we discuss anything um that could be a triggering event for certain people, um, we will discuss that. I'm also going to be discussing some very, very hard topics for me to discuss. Um, and I'm not gonna say that here because I didn't mark this and and do warnings, but basically, you all are getting me in um a very personal personalized setting. I will be bringing in people, I will be talking to people. If they don't want to be on camera, I'll be reporting what they said. Um, if they want to be on camera andor recorded, great, fantastic. I will also share their stories because there's a lot of things that I feel need to be discussed in a public setting so that people don't feel alone. And the main purpose for this podcast is is just that you are not alone in anything that you go through. Um there are things that are kind of taboo to talk about, and we're gonna talk about them. Uh, and and I'll do my best in the descriptions and in the headlines to make sure there's any warnings or kind of give you an overview of what we're discussing on that podcast. That way, if you know you're triggered by something, I don't want you to listen to it, right? I don't want to cause anybody any hurt or anything. But one thing you're gonna learn about me if you don't already know this, is I will die not only for my children, but for any other child on this planet. There is not a planet, not a child on this planet that I will not fight for. All right, I'm gonna leave it at that. That is why I am so passionate about what I what I do and and how I'm turning this podcast around, because I never started this podcast to be just another person talking, right? Um, we already have plenty of those people around. And if that's your boat, go listen to them. I don't whatever. I started this podcast, number one, to make sure nobody ever feels alone in their feelings, in their um, in their their motherhood journey, in their fatherhood journey, in their adoption journey, foster journey, mental health care journey, uh none of that. You should never ever ever ever feel alone because you're not alone. You are not the only person dealing with these issues. There's more than one person, I can guarantee you that. Um, and the other reason that I started this podcast years ago is to find ways to change the legislation and the laws regarding a lot of these issues because there's not just issues in the foster care system, there's not just issues in the adoption system, there's not just issues in the mental health. There's not one area that has issues, it's a collective um where there's issues that laws need to be stricter, the punishments need to be stricter. There need to be follow-ups on a lot of these people. There's just to me, there's a lot of laws that need to change. There's a lot of change needed. And if I can even be in a little bitty part of that, then that's great. Um, I'm also here to help everybody understand the way the law works, the way um society works, the way so y'all are gonna see me raw because all the technical difficulties and everything going on. Anyway, um, so I want to make sure everybody understands how everything works and how certain things are able to happen. Now, that doesn't mean people ain't gonna get called out because I will call you out. I don't care who you are. If you are doing something that does not protect children or harms children, I I don't care who you are, I'm gonna call you out. Um, but I'm also not gonna hold punches to anybody, and uh but I will stick up for those of us that need that support system. That hey, can you look into this for me? Let me know if I'm accurate in this um feeling in this investigation or whatnot, because the stories that I'm going to share are all from people that I have personally known or that has happened to us. Um, andor in the true crime side of it, I'm going to be discussing cases and and kind of offering my view on that. So um that's kind of the welcome back. I am I'm so happy to be back with you guys. Um bear with me on the technology of it all. I I got the recordings down, I got that down. Now I'm branching out and trying to bring y'all videos so that I can show you guys um documents that I'm talking about and stuff like that. Um, and truly know that this podcast, no topic is off limits. Um, if there's something you want to discuss, if there's something you want to share that you've learned through a journey, um, I am open to hearing it all. You can go back on our podcast and listen uh to all of the episodes we released previously, which include some of our a little bit about us and our story and our children, um, something that have have happened to us. We also talked to a lot of other people, and I've also covered a story um about a deputy um who has since passed away, unfortunately, due to his injuries, and um and kind of what happened to them and bringing to light that it was not okay. And I am I'm happy to provide an update. I'll provide that in a future episode because there was a lot that happened since the podcast that I did. Um, and that one unfortunately still gets a lot of listens. We also had um two people come and share about a child who um lost a grandchild or lost a sister basically. Um we had the aunt and the grandmother on to discuss um what took place in that investigation and and what all happened, and now they're raising uh this other child. Um, so if you haven't uh listened to that episode, go listen to uh the aliyah stories uh by her aunt raw and her um her grandma Bonnie. So um again, I am here to bring truth. I'm here to I don't have a script, as you can tell. This is not, I was doing pretty well, and then my you know, I'm like scatter grained. I have no notes around me. I just wanted to get this recorded real fast um because later I will be doing um some recordings for the March 15th podcast that I'll be releasing um regarding a local school, Crystal River Learning Academy, and its director, Tara Salute. Um, so if you want to learn a little bit about that, go visit some of the links in the video um and those places I told you before, and uh you can kind of get a gist of what we're gonna be discussing. Uh, but know that I've talked to I've talked to detectives, I've talked to uh victim advocates, I have talked to uh people that have um have their own home education program that they offer for home educated students, tutor programs, uh private schools, um deputies, prosecution office. Like I've I've talked to a bunch of people already, plus a lot of witnesses that personally knew um the teacher andor the her child. Um I personally knew her, she was my safety patrol teacher. Uh so I'm really trying to get all questions answered that I possibly can that I have seen people ask, not just me, but online as well, commenting on a lot of these posts and stories. Um, so I'm really trying just to get all of the information laid out beautifully for everybody to understand number one, how this was allowed to happen, and then two, what can we do, or what can happen, or where are we gonna go, or where can somebody go now that needs those services that she did offer. Um, so I hope you join me on this newer journey. It's not we changed it just a little bit, but not that much, because I still liked the heart of what I uh what I was called to do. And I I really do feel that this is something that I am called to do. Investigate, report, and just share life with all of you. So if you have a story you think may fit in this uh in this realm, please reach out to me. I would love nothing but to speak with you regarding this. Um and I will be bringing updates on some of the past episodes that we have had as well uh as my own personal things. So if you know something or if you have something you want me to investigate as part of the true crime portion of this, uh please reach out to me. Uh, you can reach out to me via email, gracefultunscripted at gmail.com. You can uh message me on Facebook if you go, if you follow our Facebook page, um, and all of our contact information will pretty much be anywhere that you're actually seeing this. And one last thing I wanted to do is I did create a Patreon um for the show. If you would like to join, it's five dollars a month. It's it's not that expensive, but I wanted a place for everybody to gather to where I can share some behind the scenes stuff, one-on-one questions and commentary from myself. You're gonna get early releases of podcasts um when we officially launch in April, um, and members only uh polls where I ask you guys um what you think we should cover. Um, you know, things like that. Just a little community to where we could all be together and discuss and plan and maybe see if we can't actually do something to change uh this world that we live in. So, all right, guys, spread the sunshine wherever you go. See ya.
