This week, Dylan is joined by ’The Guardian Angel of Nazare’ Sergio Cosme. Sergio is a rescue jetski rider responsible for saving the lives of the big wave surfers of Nazare. They discuss giant waves of Nazare, saving lives and breaking World Records.

Everyone knows Nazare because of the big waves, Garrett McNamara breaking the world record for the biggest wave ever surfed and the surfers who have surfed Nazare since like Kelly Slater, Andrew Cotton & Rodrigo Koxa. But none of this would be possible without someone like Sergio. He is responsible for the lives of these surfers and is an unsung hero behind the scenes. When Rodrigo Koxa broke the world record for the biggest wave ever surfed, Sergio was instrumental in, not only pulling Koxa onto the wave but also getting him back into the water after a near fatal accident in the very same spot.
