In this episode, I interview Mirko Ilic. Born in Bosnia and raised in Croatia, Mirko began drawing comics, illustrations, books and record covers at a very young age. From drawing on his living room floor to precise illustrations on the back of his family’s dining room chairs, Mirko honed his artistic and expressive talent by understanding how friction, the resistance that one surface or object produces, is essential to the creative process.
In this podcast, Mirko and I explore the importance of how doing and creating is thinking and how within each an everyone of us, awaits a hidden, sometimes artistic creative genius waiting to be unlocked.
