Today’s guest is Andrew Hazen, former lawyer turned entrepreneur, now Founder and CEO of New York Bagel Of The Month Club, powered by Bagel Boss. And in this episode, Andrew talks about being a serial entrepreneur, how he manages his time, but also how he came up with a different way to start a subbox… by partnering with an existing company!

In 1988, Andrew started working as a bagel baker at Bagel Boss on Long Island, NY. At the time, this was Bagel Boss' third location and owned & operated by 5th Generation bagel & bialy baker Adam Rosner.

Because this was before cell phones, people actually talked while waiting in line, so over time you actually built a rapport & relationship with these "bagel fans." He always took note when someone was ordering "an extra dozen or two" to fly back home or to college, or customers were traveling to visit others out of New York & wanted to bring some "real" authentic New York bagel.

Fast forward two decades later where every 'monthly online club' exists...but no Bagel Club, & like that it hit Andrew, he had to create the New York Bagel of the Month Club.

Now, in 2020, New York Bagel of the month club has been featured on ABC News, CBS News, Good Day Sacramento & Newsday! His Bagels are made by Bagel Boss in New York City by 5th & 6th generation bakers, & have now sold & shipped over 500,000 bagels in all 50 states.
