[SERMON] Miracles - Praying for Healing

In week three of our “Miracles” series at HOTL, Pastor Cyle dives deeper into what the Bible really says about miracles — and how we, as followers of Christ, should respond when we’re praying for one.

We’ve all heard stories: someone healed from an incurable condition, a broken relationship restored, a heart finally at peace. But what about when we’re still waiting for our miracle? This week, we look beyond the miracle itself and ask: Who gets the glory — us or God?

You’ll learn how miracles are not about getting what we want like Jesus is some kind of genie — they’re about glorifying God. Discover the biblical posture we’re called to have when we need a miracle: to acknowledge our need for God, to be passionate, persistent, and precise in our belief, to have faith with expectation, and to be truly grateful.
