In today’s wisdom-dropping episode, we’re so excited to shine the Soul Digger spotlight on the amazing Sophie McMeekin. We talk about Sophie's journey into the world of coaching and also dive into a juicy live coaching session.
Sophie is a Spiritual Mindset and Business Coach, EFT and NLP Practitioner, and host of the Shine with Sophie podcast. This girl is on a mission to support ambitious women build their unshakable true self and soul-aligned business, by diving deep into their souls and remembering who they are.
Graduating from uni and unsure what to do next, Sophie felt strongly about not settling in a job that didn’t serve her. A true Soul Digger! She discovered The Soul Digger podcast, started to explore the world of personal development and became hooked.
In this episode, she reminds us about the importance of prioritising ourselves and how committing to this every day can make the most profound changes. She shares how practices such as EFT tapping, meditation and dancing have all helped her connect with her true self and feel more empowered.
Sophie now shines her light by coaching women all over the world, supporting them in their own transformations. Acknowledging that it’s not always been easy - she tells us how at times she has faced anxiety and fear of judgment, but she followed the nudges and kept believing that her purpose was greater than her fear.
During this live coaching session we explore some limiting beliefs, which Sophie felt might be sneaking back in. "Am I safe? Do I need a secure job?" (Coaches are human after all!) We ask Sophie, what feels supportive? What feels right for your nervous system? Through the power of coaching and calling upon our spirit guides, Sophie uncovers the answers.
Have you ever felt like you were holding on so tightly to your business that you were strangling it? The idea of “am I cheating on my career if I have something else on the side” is an old paradigm thought. We shouldn’t constrict the way we create impact or income! What's important is making sure the ways in which we generate income are in alignment.
