From corporate control to digital freedom, Debbie Rocket has radically transformed her life over the past 6 years.

In 2018, she left behind a successful marketing career in London, walking away from prestigious Private Members’ Clubs, a steady income, and the life that looked good on paper—but felt misaligned.

Returning to the North East, she dove into personal growth, built her faith, and launched her freelance business using a decade of marketing experience. Since then, Debbie has supported clients—ranging from Hay House authors and international coaches to global wellness brands—while working remotely across Australia, Bali, Europe, and now calls Barcelona home.

Today, she empowers others through The ROCKET VA™ Academy, a training hub that equips aspiring VAs with the tools, systems, and mindset to create a life on their terms. She also runs The ROCKET VA™ Matching Service, connecting entrepreneurs with skilled, soul-aligned Virtual Assistants to grow and scale their businesses.

Speaker 1:

This episode comes with a warning, a warning that you will want to dig deep, take the leap and go for it in every area of your life. Debbie Rocket has been the backbone of the Soul Digger podcast for many, many years. She is a friend, a soul sister and an inspiration to me and so many, and she shares the highs, the lows of where she is now living in Barcelona, with this beautiful life beyond her vision board, and where she came from, working from her grandma's pepper pig bedroom in Durham. How did she get from there to where she is today? She breaks it down, she shares her tips, her inspiration, her story and, through her wisdom, you will want to go for it in ways that you never have before. So, without further ado, let's dive in. Hello Soldiers, welcome back to the show.

Speaker 1:

I actually find myself holding back the tears as I'm introducing this amazing, amazing woman, person, human, in my life and in the world. Debbie Rocket is such an angel in my life and not only in my, so, so, so many people, and I remember the moment I was living in Liverpool and I just felt this next level of expansion flowing from within me, and I was sat in the car park of David Lloyd's gym and I was like we're hiring the soul Digger is hiring new people to help us expand and Debbie Rocket was the very first person, and the only person, who really resonated with the soul and the message that I know was coming through. And this woman has completely transformed not only herself, this show and this podcast. Like, we started off editing all the shows ourselves in my friend's living room and then Debbie came on board and completely scaled, supported, has just helped the show to be what it is today. And she has been my right hand woman through thick and thin and it was I think it was a couple years ago when we stopped working together and I remember thinking, wow, this woman has.

Speaker 1:

I remember thinking, wow, this woman has supported this mission so much and now it's time for her to fly and OMG, are you flying? You know I could sit here all day and talk about you know the accolades and what you've created, but more for me it's. It's who you are and who you've remembered yourself to be. Like our first calls, your zoom setting was in your bedroom in Durham and now you're in your bedroom in Barcelona living the absolute Soul Digger life following the calling of your soul, and I'm so freaking proud of you. Debbie Rocket, welcome to the show.

Speaker 2:

Oh my god, kim, I don't know how I can like possibly talk back after that amazing introduction because, like I, was almost in tears as well and I'm so grateful to be here and, and you know, you shared so much about the journey of the soul digger podcast and where it started with you, in that bedroom room, and and then we connected in such a beautiful, like and aligned way and then, you know, working together and then taking my life now to where it is is it's been a big journey, but I wouldn't have been here if it wasn't for you.

Speaker 2:

Also, so like, you are like the ultimate soul digger on my journey. And you know you were talking about when I used to work. It was actually in my grandma's bedroom, so I lived with my grandma in the second lockdown in England. I was working in my like this back bedroom where I used to go when I was like five years old to stay, and this is where we were building the podcast from and really going for it.

Speaker 2:

And I remember I was also working with you doing some coaching, the one-to-one coaching sessions and when we were grounding in before this podcast, I was like I just tuned back into those sessions and I was like wow, like I remember exactly what I learned from you in those sessions, like the embodied principles and the pillars that I still live by to these days this day, and they have taken me to where I am now and days this day, and and they have taken me to where I am now and I'm so grateful that we get to support each other on this journey in business and in life and to be to, to kind of come back here and it's like 360, like turnaround is incredible and I'm so excited to, to talk to you about like my journey and to like you're saying, like together I think we can inspire people, that you know we can change our lives.

Speaker 2:

And a soul dig is someone who really listens to their soul like eliminates the noise of other people and the opinions that don't matter and really really understands who they are and takes action to to live the life of their dreams because it's possible and you are living proof of that, my dear.

Speaker 1:

This is a testament to you just how appreciative you are and how much I feel seen and honored by you. So yeah, thank you. So I mean these podcasts right. I I love to activate and inspire people with what's possible, because people might look at you and go it's all right for you, you've got it all together. However, I know there was times in your journey where you didn't know the next steps to take. You doubted what was possible. So can you take us back to the time in your grandma's bedroom and what were your challenges and what were your fears? But where did you? Where did you feel?

Speaker 2:

your soul was calling you to go oh yeah, it's such a that's such a big question I think to think about is, you know, when we see the success in people, we we feel like it's, it's come easy to them and they, they must just have it easy. They're lucky. You know, they've landed on their feet. But honestly, I guess the my first journey started when I was living in London and I was in the corporate world and I was in this marketing job for like two of the world's most prestigious marketing clubs and it looked great on the outside but like in the inside it just my life didn't feel good. And then that's when I started network marketing and that's when I then came into your world and I saw you and you were presenting on stage and I was like, oh my God, who is Kim Miller? And I remember we were all talking about you, like look at her in her gorgeous glittery pants. Like oh my God, she's so cool. Like we all wanted to meet you. And I remember when I first met you I was like, oh my God I met, so happy and I just felt like you were such an inspiration for me at that time and still are, because you were listening to your soul and you know you really inspired me to take steps and so at this point I started network marketing and then I left my job in London, moved to the north of England where I'm from, did some traveling and then it was during COVID. It kind of I started some freelance work and realized that I really wanted to create my own business and it kind of just like fell into place.

Speaker 2:

But I did a lot of trial and error and you know, during COVID lots of people in England were on furlough, so they were getting income from the government whereas I was in my first year of self-employment. So I got nothing. So it came to the decision of you either sink or swim. And I just decided I was like, well, there's no way I'm going to sink. So I just put myself. I was first working on my niece's single Peppa Pig bedroom, like I was working from her room all day, like every day, doing the work of like training to become a virtual assistant, taking on all these client works. And then I moved in with my grandma because I was wanting to actually to go abroad at this point.

Speaker 2:

So I didn't have a proper base and I just realized that if the only person that in your life that will ever change. Your life is you. And it was from a Gabby Bernstein book that I first read, and it's like you know, you, you are the, the hero of your life, and no one's going to come and rescue you. And, yes, you might want all of these amazing things, but if you don't take action, if you don't take the brave steps, then you're never going to live into your potential. And so, yes, it was scary, and, yes, there have been many, many times where I've been like, wow, I don't know if I can do this, I don't know if it's going to come to where I want it to come to.

Speaker 2:

But I've always really stayed true to the vision and I'm just looking. I have another vision board behind me now and I just remain focused, I guess, not on, like, the specifics of the vision, but just on the specifics of the fact that you can, your mind can, expand to where you want it to be, like anything is possible, but you just have to take the steps. And if you really have the vision of something, then you can become that person like that. I believe that that person is within you from the beginning, like if you're seeing something and you're feeling it then then you can live that, live that dream, and I feel like there are so many people in life who are scared of their potential and scared to take the steps because of what other people say or because we grew up in a society where the nine to five is normal, you know, getting married and having two kids at 25 30 is normal.

Speaker 2:

And if we don't meet these milestones and we feel like we've failed, but in fact we haven't, we've just listened to our soul and that we have a different path. So I really feel like, for me, a lot of the strength has come from, I guess, like self-belief, trusting in the outcome, like trusting in the universe, trusting in a higher source and also taking the action and just not being afraid of putting myself out there. You know my business has grown through a lot of word of mouth, which I've been really lucky about, but ultimately, ultimately as well, I think it's just being my true self and I you know when you said at the beginning about you know we work together as a partnership. That's how I I do my life and business and I'm really grateful that's brought me to where I am now oh my gosh.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I love how you just skip over all the challenges like they were just absolutely nothing like everyone was on furlough and you just went self-employed wow, I know do you, do you remember any of those moments? Because obviously we don't, like we don't want to live in the pain, but I think it's important for everyone. Listening like there's take us to a moment along that journey where it felt tough and you didn't know what direction to go in and actually what, what you did to unlock that yeah, I mean honestly, there have been.

Speaker 2:

There have been many, many tough moments and I guess I am a very positive person and I think that sometimes I probably don't acknowledge the tough points as much, because I really believe in the power of positivity, gratitude, trusting that some of the tough, not so good parts are part of the journey. But yeah, ultimately there have been many tough parts and like, for example, when I was you know, when I was I actually have an example of and you helped me in this situation um, covid had just finished and I really wanted to move abroad. My whole dream was to move my whole life to Australia. That was the vision before COVID. I'd just come from from Australia and I wanted to continue to build my business. You know, I was a virtual assistant by that time and I was building it.

Speaker 2:

But one of my friends, the borders for Australia was closed and one of my friends from London was living in Spain and she was like Debbie, come live with us in Spain, like we have a spare room for three months. I was like, okay, great. So I booked my flight, I packed everything up, said bye to my grandma, said bye to my family, went to the airport, flew to Barcelona, got to the airport, got to border control and the passport control officers were like, where are your visas, like where's your paperwork? And I was like I uh, I don't know. And then I, just like I had a little cry, was taken into the back office and all these police officers, I had my fingerprints taken. I was put into a cell in the airport because basically I didn't have a visa and it was only for it was only for residents at that time. So I was in this, in this police cell, technically, in the airport, and at this time I remember so I had my phone and and I remember I messaged you and I was like Kim, like I'm in a cell, I don't know what to do. And I remember you sent me this Abraham Hicks meditation, like, and I remember like lying on this like paper sheet on this bunk bed, just being like, okay, I'm gonna listen to this meditation, I'm gonna trust the process, I'm just gonna go to sleep and tomorrow it's gonna be like almost over and I'm just gonna breathe. Go to sleep and tomorrow it's going to be like almost over and I'm just going to breathe through what comes next.

Speaker 2:

So the next morning then I got into an interview and there's a policeman and a translator and a lawyer. It's like, oh my God, this is getting worse. And then in the end the outcome was like, ok, you have to go back to England. So they went back to England and I couldn't get back into the country for a while because I needed some paperwork. So that was one of the really tough moments, because my whole vision there was to move my life to the sunshine and I was like why am I being blocked? And you know, then I tried to get a visa. The first visa was denied by the Spanish government, so then I had to pay another. I paid like 7,000 euros in total to get these visas to become a freelancer in Spain and in the end my second one was approved. But that was, I would say, that's one of my toughest, toughest um journeys to this date, because honestly, I still have passport control, trauma and but.

Speaker 2:

I'm gonna be in a cell in a cell. Whenever I tell anyone they're like Debbie in a cell, like no, this can't be real, it's like, yeah, it's so real wow.

Speaker 1:

So I'm curious why do you think that showed up in your life?

Speaker 2:

that's a really good question. I, when I was in the cell, I remember thinking I was like, oh god, I never want to travel again. I was like I just want to go home to my safe bubble with my family and and that's it. I was like I just never want to go through anything like this again. And I think, because I felt that way, then I came back and I, like you know, felt good again. I was like I'm gonna try this again like this. I'm not gonna let this stop me and keep me small, keep me in this one one place. I'm not meant to be here.

Speaker 2:

And I just knew in myself like I, my vision on all my vision boards was living with the sea, living with blue skies and with the sun.

Speaker 2:

I was like I'm not meant to be here, but maybe it just wasn't the right time and maybe I was meant to have a little bit of a harder journey just to prove how much I wanted to be here. And you know, when I got, when I finally got here and lived here, I was like wow, it was worth it. I mean, it was probably one of the toughest years I've had because it was a lot of like uncertainty, a lot of money, a lot of waiting around, a lot of, like you know, being how I felt, like in the prime of my life, my early 30s be like waiting and and uncertain. But I really trusted in that vision and when it, when my visa came through, I was like, yeah, I knew it was coming, it just maybe took a bit longer to get there. And by this point as well, my business was a bit more settled. So, you know, then I could actually properly live in Spain, because now I pay taxes in Spain and I'm a Spanish temporary resident.

Speaker 1:

So the process was slightly different, but I guess it took me to the right place in the end absolutely, and I just want to reflect back at you there the the level of trust and and and you know uncertainty.

Speaker 1:

But you were so certain in that process that this is what you were choosing and for anyone listening who is experiencing difficulty from a spiritual perspective, it's all about passing tests. So what you went through was actually helping you to receive the level of light that you're about to experience, because on the other side of that visa I mean, if you go and look at Debbie's Instagram you'll be like, oh my god, I need to have more fun right now. Can I be Debbie's best friend? The life be like oh my God, I need to have more fun right now. Can I be Debbie's best friend? The life you're living now, with the friendships, the business, the academy, living in Barcelona, our vessel has to be able to hold that amount of light, and so these tests come up exactly for that reason not to stop you and block you, but as a test to see OK, am I willing to let it all go to trust and surrender to the divine plan?

Speaker 2:

So well done for passing the test, thank you. I mean, it's true, it's like it's sometimes these tough points, tough times in your life come to just show you like exactly what you want. And I think one thing I've really learned as well is that from from pain and I know you feel the same from pain comes purpose. And you know there have been many other tough times in my life, and also with family members, that have really pushed my resiliency and pushed, pushed me to really trust the universe and at the end I just feel, like in life, if you really want something, if you really have this dream, this desire, then even if you have to go through all of the ups and downs to get there, then the outcome is worth it. But I think that in our society, you know, and we have a like a 24-hour turnaround, we have amazon prime, we have things that you can buy in the second, in the moment. So people, we expect things to happen in the moment, like there and then, but actually things like a successful business takes years to build and grow, and you know, I'm five years in now and I'm still growing and wanting to learn more and expand, and and every day it's a different day and I still want to take my business to whole new levels, but from where I am five years ago is completely beyond my wildest dreams, to be honest, like beyond the vision board dreams.

Speaker 2:

And you know, sometimes I do like I'm posting my Instagram, I'm like, wow, like my life is so freaking good I'm and I'm so grateful for it. Honestly, like my friends in Barcelona joke because they're literally like I think someone in the put on my Instagram yesterday like gratitude sponsored by Debbie Rocker. They're like I swear you're the most grateful person. Like I don't think anyone's been more grateful to live here or to like have. I was like yeah, but I am, because because I know that this life is is possible, but it's.

Speaker 2:

It takes time to get, to get here, but it's. It's something that feels so special to me and I feel like more, having more gratitude in life makes makes you enjoy things more. It makes you realize how precious life is and there is so much to enjoy. And even the small things like honestly, like just a daily matcha in the sun, like that is a moment of happiness. I think it doesn't have to be all of these big like trips or things. I think it's like finding gratitude in the small things which can make you just enjoy your life more and make make the whole, the whole journey as well worth it, because ultimately this journey might take to to wherever you want to go, might take one year, might take five, might take 10 years, but if you don't enjoy the journey, then what is life?

Speaker 1:

exactly, and you know we always think it's in the, the money or the trips or where we live, but really it's a feeling that we can embody in the now right. And when you said you know you're living a life beyond your vision board, I feel a big piece of you living. That has been that process that felt difficult because you had to let go of control. I remember I used to make vision boards all the time. I used to be so obsessed about controlling the vision and the life that I wanted, thinking that I was the one that was creating it and if I didn't create it it wouldn't happen. That's not the case.

Speaker 1:

Like the reason why your desire was so big for Barcelona was because your soul was just remembering what life it was already living. Your soul was just remembering what life it was already living. And so when we look at a vision board as a, like you said, it's just a way to expand. It's not this thing to attach to because you're living a life beyond your wildest imagination. Like why do we think that with our minds we can control the creator who created all of life? Like what if there is something bigger, better, brighter waiting for us? And that process of you going to prison.

Speaker 1:

I'm just gonna say you went to prison, paying the money, literally paying the price like you have earned. Basically it was. I feel like it was almost like a birth cosmic birth canal that was squeezing any bit of control out of you.

Speaker 2:

That was just like, oh okay, yeah, this is what happens when you let go of control it's so true and I think, yeah, I think we can think that we can coercively, like, control everything in our lives and I think we can be perfectionists and want, want to do everything that we we have on our vision board. But, like, like we're saying, like the vision board should not be the such a focus that it's like it detracts you from enjoying or embracing the opportunities that come on your path, because there are so many cool things and so many opportunities and you know, I feel like the friends that I've met have been so aligned and I've just met them like randomly, at yoga classes, all through friends and people have introduced me and you know, they, that's. That's been an amazing, amazing process and I've expanded so much through my friends as well. And I think having the right people around you as well is a really big part of this journey, because not everyone understands that if you want to live a different life, you A are starting to change your mindset and people are going to say you've changed. But why is change a bad thing when it's actually going to take you to where you want to be and bring you back to remembering who you are and so having those friends and business clients and people around you who really understand you and embrace you and also have expansive, open-minded mindsets.

Speaker 2:

For me, that's been a big, a big, big, big um change in my life. And yeah, you know we have, I have friendships in Barcelona that we, we talk about like everything from like manifesting to health, to like like going for margaritas, to having like nights out in clubs till 5am at 35, which I'm like why not? We're having fun, like this is part of the journey and it's like it's not seeing everything as like all in on, like, for example, like I'd say that I'm pretty living a healthy lifestyle but still I like to have the party side because that's part of me and I that's life. It's having the balance and not saying no to one thing.

Speaker 1:

Lose my voice yeah, have the spicy margarita if you want one always have the spicy margarita, yeah, always yeah, without question yeah, I was gonna add a bit of spice to life oh my gosh. Yeah, so much yes to this. So you've gone from being in your grandma's bedroom in Durham to living in Barcelona. Like what does a day in the life look like for Debbie Rocket now?

Speaker 2:

oh, my god, honestly, I feel like I feel like a living in a dream, like in a holiday, because, like my, my routine now on average, like in general, is you know, I get up around 7.30. I go to the gym I'm a member at Soho House I go to the gym, have an hour there, then I go and sauna, I go and have my nice shower, wash my hair and have the nice fluffy towels and a whole nice experience. And then I go in and set up my laptop for a few hours, have a matcha in the co-working space there and then I work on some client work. So I'm still doing work as an online business manager. I have a couple of clients and then I normally go home in the afternoon.

Speaker 2:

I'm like living on that Spanish timeline now, so I have lunch around 2.33, have a later lunch, work a little bit more. Then maybe I like have a walk in the evening or go and see some friends or go to another like a yoga class and then have like a normal, like Spanish dinner, which now is like about 8.30 at home. But if we go out for dinner I swear I can you eat anywhere here between like nine and midnight. That's the average Spanish evening time and I and I actually just love it.

Speaker 2:

Like I feel like I've really embraced the Spanish lifestyle and like I love the fact that I mean, I probably don't love the bureaucracy or the sometimes the fact that the shops are closed in the middle of the day, but in general I feel like I've adapted to it and I've become more relaxed in my, in my lifestyle and I've got to this point of balance, I'd say, and I think when I first started my business, I was like probably working like crazy hours, because sometimes you have to do these crazy hours when you're first starting a business and put lots more time in.

Speaker 2:

But now I feel like in a place where I'm balanced and, honestly, I just really enjoy the, the wellness in Barcelona, the, the lifestyle, the sunshine and also the fact that I can see family and friends regularly because it's it's not as far as Australia, it's just like a couple of hours from from the UK. So my average day is is honestly, I'd say it's like my dream day, which feels feels like incredible to say that out loud wow, and you probably left out one of the most profound pieces that you have built the most incredible online VA academy.

Speaker 1:

I remember the day that you told me this. You were like Kim, it's time I'm gonna create my own academy and I was like you go for it, girl. So how has that process been from from becoming a virtual assistant to then helping other people to become virtual?

Speaker 2:

assistants. Wow, yeah, honestly, that's I mean that's it's been a huge, huge piece of my the last three years. I'm so proud of, and I'm so proud of everyone who has become a virtual assistant through the Rocket VA Academy. So it was actually one of my second. It was my second client, rick William, and he's a personal development coach and he once told me he's like Debbie, you're a great VA. Like I want you to be my VA. I'd love you to be my VA for ages, for life, but I see like there's more potential in you. I feel like you. I feel like you should be teaching other people to become VAs, because you know everything that a lot of people don't and you could actually help people create the life of freedom, and I know that's something that you're so passionate about. And I was like you know that's why I first started a network marketing business, because I really wanted to create freedom for myself, but I also wanted to help other people create the freedom. And then I was.

Speaker 2:

I just realized that maybe there was something in this, and so I created this like 12 module program. I did a live launch and I ended up having like eight people pay and join it and I was like wow, like wow. Okay, this is the thing, like people are trusting in me, they want to do this in this career. And since then, you know we've, we've grown, I've grown the academy to, we've trained over like 35 virtual assistants now and we're growing. And you know, we're growing around the world and and it's not just in the UK, it's in Europe as well, and I really want to grow and expand that and the reason why I'm doing this academy, I've created it because, you know, I have created what I feel is my version of my dream life and it took me. It took me some time to get there, but I have put all the skills and the knowledge and everything that I've learned into this one program so that people who are feeling like they're stuck or unsure of what they want to do in life, or want to get away from the nine to five grind, want to work around their family and friends. And I want to go traveling. This is a toolkit that I know works, because I've I walk the walk and I feel really like full body, embodied, confident to say I know that if you join the Rocket VA Academy, you can become a successful, sold-out virtual assistant and create the life of your dreams. And that doesn't mean that they have to move to Barcelona or do anything like this or make big moves. It just means tuning into their soul and really listening to what they want to do.

Speaker 2:

And you know, I see I've seen nurses like even my sister joined the academy like two years ago and she left a 15-year nursing career. She's in intensive care and she was like missing out on things like her daughter's like school run, and now I have shivers now and I'm like I see her now and I spoke to her this morning and she's like she's sold out, she can't take on any more clients and she's loving it. And I'm like, wow, this is amazing. And I see other women. You know we've got mums who are working around their children, working on their lifestyle, and they're they're doing it. They're bringing the income that they want, but on their own terms and working from home, and I'm and that's what I want for people to really to give them a tool to do that. And so I'm really grateful that I created the academy and it.

Speaker 2:

You know, again, it was one of those things that was a bit of a brave leap of faith, but you know, this is why I'm also so pleased you're bringing the podcast back, because I feel like if you have a purpose, if you have a voice and there's there's something you need to share, then you're doing the world a disservice by not by not showing up and speaking up. So I feel like by not having the academy, I wouldn't be able to help these people become virtual assistants and set up their own remote lifestyle. And the same with you. If you weren't doing this amazing podcast, you wouldn't have your words of wisdom in the world like making ripples, effective magic. So it's just this whole like abundance thing and sharing and and trusting that you, that what you have to share is, is worthy and that it's going to be received by the right people as well, oh, mic drop and that's it as well.

Speaker 1:

You're so embodied, you're living the life. So not only are people learning how to be a virtual assistant, they're learning how to take the leap of faith in life. So it's almost like having the best mentor, who you know is embodied in the leap and the gratitude, and you're like this holistic business mentor who helps people to also make money well, that's I should.

Speaker 2:

I should write that down because that was like that was the pitch, like, but I guess it's true, like, and I really feel like I, I love helping people.

Speaker 2:

I, you know, part of the academy as well, as I'm also a qualified Pilates instructor and we have a couple of Pilates modules in there, because so much about being a freelancer and setting up your own business is looking after yourself first, because you are the engine of your business.

Speaker 2:

And if you're not fueling yourself with good food, with, with movement, like, with your daily matches, whatever makes you happy, like sleeping well, then you're not, your business isn't going to grow. And at the beginning of my business, you know I'd spend too long at my desk and I didn't prioritize the walks or the meditation or the yoga, whereas now I do, because I know that I can show up for myself and also for my clients and the alumni members, and I know that I'm a better person, a better mentor and a better friend everything for for taking the time for myself. So I really want to inspire others who join the academy that you know you can create a lifestyle, that you have a business, but you also need to look after yourself. So I really hopefully inspire them to do that as well, absolutely.

Speaker 1:

So if you were to give your five-year-ago self some advice because there's people listening who resonate with where you were five years ago as a bit of a recipe for the key pieces that someone might want to embody or take action on to achieve their dreams, what would it be?

Speaker 2:

that's such a good question. What piece of advice would give to my five myself five years ago? I would say that, even if it takes five years or longer, if you really have this vision, this dream within you, then you should never give up on it. Because if if you're believing it, if you really have this vision, this dream within you, then you should never give up on it, because if you're believing it, if you're seeing it, then it's possible. But also with that, I would say that to trust the unfolding and the path might look different to how you expect it. So trust that. You know.

Speaker 2:

Maybe, for example, I wanted to move to Australia for the lifestyle, but I ended up in Barcelona, which for me actually is so much better because it's like pretty much the same lifestyle but closer to England, to my family. So I would say, yeah, trust, trust the process and the unfolding, trust in yourself and just keep going on that vision and never give up, like, no matter how long it takes, also to have a lot of fun along the way, because you've only got one life and you know we can. We can think too much, we can worry too much, we can stay stuck, we can second guess ourselves. We can stay in lack of self-worth, lack of self-confidence, all these things that so many of us struggle with, but if we don't actually go for it and make the changes and believe in ourselves, then then no one else will. So just keep going and believe in yourself, um, and have fun.

Speaker 2:

And, yeah, just, I guess, just have confidence, because confidence, confidence kills and and, honestly, you know, I think that's one thing I've really struggled with and done a lot of work on, and probably some of the work that we did as well was on confidence. But we have the confidence within us. It's just like a matter of like taking away the layers that were, that were wrapped around it, and really starting to embrace our full embodied self and not being scared to let this person, like this man, woman, like be unleashed, because the the world needs our authentic selves. And if we're just like playing small and and staying behind, like you know, because we don't want to be seen, then actually we're not living a full life. So just don't be afraid of being confident and going for it just going for it.

Speaker 1:

Well, you have helped me to go for it in many ways and if anyone has ever done expect miracles or any of my programs, debbie was the brains and the structure strategy behind every single program. Um, so thank you for being that pillar of support for me as I was expanding my mission and my vision it was amazing to like the such an honor, kim, to be with you on that journey.

Speaker 2:

I remember I remember all of the all of the amazing sessions and the challenges that we're running together and the launches. And I think a big thing as well for for me, working as a virtual assistant and now an online business manager is that I've had the opportunity to work with some amazing people just like you, and for me, it's like you'll get to co-create and actually build someone's business and vision together. And you know, as a virtual assistant, you get to work with different clients in different industries and for me, my background is predominantly personal development, coaches and wellness industries and I've like loved the fact that also we've been able to build a friendship from our, from our working, from our start. And you know, from that first time when, when you were in those sparkling, glittery trousers at that networking marketing event, I was like, oh my god, I just want to talk to Kimmel. I could never imagine that I would then be working with you and then and then you'd be coaching me and then we become friends and now I'm on your podcast. Like that's like a huge manifestation journey that definitely wasn't my vision board but like is beyond my vision, and I'm so happy to be here, and I think it's also a fact that you know that confidence is, and trust in yourself and going for it, and also realizing that everyone in in we're all, we're all on the same level, like there's no human who's better than another, and I think that's one thing as well.

Speaker 2:

You know, we can see people on Instagram with millions of followers, but when you meet them in life, they're just humans like you and me, and I think it's you know we can compare ourselves to the journey and to the success of other people, but all that really matters in life is that we're happy with our own version of success and that we realize that, at the end of the day, health and health and happiness are two of the most important things in life, and you know money doesn't buy that. So you having a kind heart, looking after yourself, is so important, and then you get to meet these amazing, aligned people and you bring the right people into your life. You bring the right clients into your life and you can have so much fun along the way, and I was just thinking in this moment of when we're in Mykonos on your Soul Digger retreat and we had those like 100k balloons because we were celebrating 100k downloads of the Soul Digger podcast. That was epic and like. That was such a cool.

Speaker 2:

Like the, the villa was amazing, the retreat was amazing, like the community the soul digger community that you've created, kim, is amazing and I'm so happy that it's back because because I know that it's meant to expand even even more and you know that that retreat was just such a such a great example of how, when women especially come together, you can create magic. And you know, since then, I know that lots of the women have had such huge expansions and changes in their life. And that's all because they, they first did the work, they found the right mentor and then they, they took action in aligned, aligned magic oh wow, we'll just walk in ourselves home with each other, debbie Rocket, wow.

Speaker 1:

Rocket by name, rocket by nature this one's name is actually Debbie Rocket as well, so the Rocket VA Academy. I'm going to put all the things in the show notes at the end, um, but I also just want to reflect something back at you because, uh, I was a little bit late for this podcast recording because I was, uh, looking at Debbie's natal chart, so I'm I always get their date of birth, time of it, place of birth like, let me get intimate with this person's soul. There is so many reasons to be disconnected and distracted in this world, and what a gift it is to really get to know who someone is on a soul level and be able to reflect back at them and guide them towards their, their soul's, fulfillment. And, uh, your north node is Aquarius in the fifth house. Okay, so what does that mean? Okay, so?

Speaker 1:

So your evolution has been about letting go of the need to perform and moving into purposeful creativity, authentic self-expression and innovative leadership that serves the greater good. It's not just about a personal legacy for you. So the fifth house in Aquarius energy asks you to create from a place of freedom, intuition and rebellion against the norms. Rather than creating to be liked, your soul wants to create, to liberate, to disrupt, to awaken, inspire others to think differently. So your greatest soul's growth which is where you're going to find the most fulfillment is taking creative risks that feel authentic but may not be universally accepted. Leading with your ideas, creating systems and platforms that allow others to shine, not just herself. So I mean the rocket va academy, and it says here as well um design systems and experiences to help people awaken their unique genius. Mentor the generation of creators, rebels or thought leaders. Build a community-centered offering, either memberships, masterminds or coaching groups. Create innovative courses, content or art that blends purpose and play oh, my like kim, like I'm like what that's?

Speaker 1:

that's crazy literally your north star, that. So that means that you, when you're aligned with those things, you're in your soul's purpose and that's when you unlock the greatest fulfillment. Things feel magnetic. So you know, whenever there is challenge, it's because the comfort zone of coming from where you were, which was your south node, was in leo, in the 11th house, right and I can send you all this on email as well, because I'd love for you to have this um that there's always this comfort of the soul wanting to cling to where it's come from and, obviously, that that experience of being in the cell and the visas has actually catapulted your soul to be in alignment with its soul's destiny wow, that's, that's huge and what, what you were sharing.

Speaker 2:

Then, as you were saying, I was like, wow, I feel like you're just reading out, like what's going to happen in my life. I feel like I'm. I'm creating this, like you know, with the Rocket V Academy, I do love, I like love it. I. I feel so grateful that I love it and work feels like a pleasure to me and I just feel like I'm meant to use my voice and maybe that sounds my old self would be like, oh god, who is? If I was listening to myself now, like, who is she like? Who does she think she is trying to want to show up, doing all these things that are? But actually there's, there's no shame in in speaking up and sharing your voice and and inspiring others and helping them and you know everything in that that north note I was like wow, that's like incredible, it's exactly what I want to do and like with that as well, you know I've really had to. I guess I've had.

Speaker 2:

I've had my own battles of, you know, really struggling with not feeling like I had to be at my desk like 9, 9 am.

Speaker 2:

If I was at the beginning of this journey, I was like, oh, my god, I feel so guilty. Not being at my desk at 9 am not guilty taking any time off during the day. You know, I really have struggled with lack of self-worth and I still work on this now and I still, you know, I'm trying to do nervous system regular regulation, breath work tapping, because the journey of evolution is ever growing and we have to keep working on ourselves to become the version of ourselves that we're meant to be, and if we don't do that, then other people can't do the same. It's like this ripple. So, yeah, I feel like everything you said. Then I was like, wow, that's, that's, yeah, that's amazing, and I hope that, with the Rocket V Academy, my vision is that I get to help hundreds of thousands of people all around the world find their own freedom, version of freedom and flexibility through virtual assisting, and I'm excited to see people actually live the life of their dreams, because if it's possible for me, then it's 100% possible for them too.

Speaker 2:

Amen to that yes and more to more of this, like I feel like there should be more of this, like going for in the in the world. You know, and I really hope that when people listen to this episode, that someone's inspired to actually just make even a small step today, just like do one thing on their on their to-do list or their small step today, just like do one thing on their on their to-do list or their next step list. So it scares them a little bit, like because otherwise we're going to stay stuck in this comfort zone forever and if nothing changes, nothing changes and life can become so mundane if we let it become mundane. But when you start to change and evolve, the magic unfolds wow, debbie rocket.

Speaker 1:

We're gonna end with one final question. You know what this question is, because you have pulled many clips from this part of the podcast. What is a soul digger?

Speaker 2:

I think a soul digger is someone who really listens to their truth, listens to their vision and doesn't listen to the opinions of other people, really understands that they are the only ones in their life who can live the life of their dreams and really takes control. And a soul digger is someone who's brave, who's bold, who is fierce, who is not scared of standing up from the crowd, not scared of speaking their truth and not scared of shaping the future of their life and those around them. Because when we step into the, the soul digger within us, we inspire other people to do the same. And yeah, life can have, can evolve in so many amazing ways when you just dig deep and go for it oh, wow, wow, thank you.

Speaker 1:

Thank you, deborah I. I have loved this episode so much, such a full circle moment, and I can't wait for my listeners to to hear you. I can't wait for you to listen to yourself back and go.

Speaker 2:

Oh my god, this is my first ever podcast, kim, and I was like when you reached out to me, I was like, oh my god, I'm so happy that Kim is messaging me to ask me this, because if there's ever like my first podcast, it has to be with Kim Miller and like the soul digger and there's no other.

Speaker 2:

You I'm sorry, you are the ultimate soul digger and I'm so happy that you are, because you're inspiring us all around the world to become soul diggers and and live, live our, our biggest, most abundant, fulfilled life. And I really feel like your journey, kim, like you are continuing to inspire me with just like taking your life and trusting the next chapters and you know, trusting that sometimes life takes us in different directions, but those directions could be even more expansive than what we, what we could ever think. So thank you for like bringing this back, for being you, for your friendship, for for hiring me those years ago and for putting your trust in me, because if you hadn't done that, kim, like I wouldn't be here now and I don't think my business or life would look the same. So thank you for everything that you brought into my life and I can't wait to see you in Barcelona and in lots of other fun places and like the next chapters of life, which is going to be amazing so amazing and thank you for allowing me to pop your cherry.

Speaker 2:

Love it. I feel like I'm ready to go with more podcasts now, but I've got the official first cherry popped with a spill digger.

Speaker 1:

That's a quote Guys, go and follow this woman. She is the most epically heart-centered, kind, grateful human and, and, yeah, such a dear friend in my life. So I'm going to link all of um her, all of her in the show notes and I think you've got. Have you got like a free three-day VA? Tell us about that.

Speaker 2:

Oh yes, I've got a three three. It's like a three-hour training session. So if anyone is thinking of becoming a virtual assistant maybe doesn't know what one does, how they could set up their own business, how it'd work for them, it's. It's completely free to sign up. So it's rocketvacom forward slash 90 days, va and you just get the three, three, three hours of workshops and you can do in your own time, and then you also get a little workbook as well. So it's definitely worth having a look if you've never explored the world of virtual assisting before incredible, so we rock it, thank you amazing.

Speaker 2:

Thank you so much, kimmy.
