This episode of Behind the Lines: The Houston Lawyer Podcast complements the March/April issue of The Houston Lawyer (THL), which is about energy and the environment.  

In the first segment (2:20), THL editor Natasha Breaux talks with Haynes and Boone partner Diana Liebmann about the energy market and ERCOT in the aftermath of Winter Storm Uri.

In the second segment (47:34:50), THL associate editor Andrew Pearce has a conversation with Scott Janoe, an environmental law partner at Baker Botts, about the impact of cryptocurrency both now and in the future. 

In the third segment (1:04:26:70), THL editor in chief Anna Archer talks with Megan Berge about environmental issues, regulations, and laws relating to electric vehicles. Megan is a partner at Baker Botts and hosts a podcast called Environmental Evolutions.

Behind the Lines: The Houston Lawyer Podcast is collaborating with the Houston Young Lawyers Association's Hylights Podcast for this episode.  Hylights will focus on the intersection of energy and maritime law for the Hylights episode being released in early May.
