Welcome to the second episode of Season 2, Professionalism: Yesterday, Today, and Always.  This episode corresponds with the Professionalism issue (Sep./Oct. 2021) of The Houston Lawyer.  

In the first segment (starting at 1:22), Reflections on Professionalism: An Interview with Three Fifty-Year Lawyers, I talk with the Honorable Patricia Lykos, the Honorable William Allen, and Mr. David Lopez about what they have learned about professionalism during their long and rewarding 50+ year careers.  HBA members may earn CLE credit (45 minutes plus 15 minutes of ethics) for listening to this segment.  Visit hba.org, the CLE page, for details. 

In the second segment (starting at 43:20), The Harvest Celebration: Sowing Seeds of Hope, the President of the HBA, Jennifer Hasley, the Chair of the Houston Bar Foundation, Polly Fohn, and the Executive Director of Houston Volunteer Lawyers, Anne Chandler, explain how the Harvest Celebration is the culmination of different organizations working together and bringing hope to Houstonians in need of pro bono services.
