The Tales We Tell

Ep. 186: The Conjuring

Hannah Partsch

Is your house full of flies, gross smells, and has doors that open and close on their own? You may be living with a demon (or a cat... or both!) Happy Halloween! It's the final installment of our true stories behind the scary movies series, and this week, Hannah tells Katy the very true story behind The Conjuring! In her very best effort to consolidate 1500 pages of narrative, Hannah tells Katy about the Perron family's harrowing ordeal in Harrisville, RI where they lived with moving objects, disembodied voices, full-body apparitions, and much much more for nearly 10 years. Katy is the constant skeptic, and Hannah is adamant that the Conjuring House will NOT be a stop on their haunted road trip. This episode is the perfect way to extend the spookiness a day or two past Halloween!

So pour your drinks, grab that discounted candy, turn down the lights, and settle in for this haunted, spooky tale!
