The world around us often runs on self-interest, competition, and fear. But the culture of God's kingdom is different. It's marked by righteousness, peace, and joy. The Holy Spirit brings heaven's atmosphere wherever you go. As we pray today, close your eyes if you can and focus your mind on the Lord. Listen to Romans 14, 17's call to us today. For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. We get access to these things through Jesus Christ. And because of Jesus and the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives, we carry them into our environments and relationships. Take a moment to thank God that his spirit lives in you, bringing the peace and joy of heaven into your everyday life. Ask the Lord to help you respond to situations today, not with the culture of this world, but with the character of His kingdom. Invite the Holy Spirit over the next minute to fill your thoughts, words, and actions with peace and joy. With each breath, imagine inhaling heaven's peace and exhaling the anxiety of this world. Ask that heaven's joy would overflow in their heart. If you can, place a hand over your heart in personal agreement with me as I close in prayer today. Thank you, Holy Spirit, for bringing heaven's culture into our lives. Let your righteousness, peace, and joy transform our homes, workplaces, and conversations today. Amen.
