Welcome to today's Guided Prayer, where we invite you to find a quiet space to still your mind and body.
Guided Prayers are a daily 5–10 minute, intentionally created moment to slow down and meet with God—through scripture, reflection, and honest prayer.
It’s not a program you attend.
It’s a pathway you practice.
A guided space where people can stop, breathe, and connect with Jesus—every single day.
As we prepare to engage God Almighty today in prayer, take three deep breaths and calm your body and mind. Tell your body, body, rest in his love. Tell your mind, mind, focus on his love. In the world, power is often used to control. But in God's kingdom, authority looks like service. Jesus, the King of kings, stooped low to wash feet. True greatness is found in humility. This is what Jesus says to those following him in Matthew 20, 26 through 28. Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant. Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. Close your eyes if you can and take 20 seconds to meditate on the model of humble leadership that Jesus exemplifies: serving, loving, and giving his life for us. Now take the next minute and ask God to give you a heart like His, willing to serve others without recognition. Invite Him to show you today where you can demonstrate kingdom authority through love and humility. That they would carry kingdom humility and servant authority this week. And that God would strengthen them and equip them in their leadership roles. Jesus, thank you for redefining greatness. May our influence be marked by love, our authority by humility, in our hearts by service to others. Amen.
