Welcome to today's Guided Prayer, where we invite you to find a quiet space to still your mind and body.

Guided Prayers are a daily 5–10 minute, intentionally created moment to slow down and meet with God—through scripture, reflection, and honest prayer.

It’s not a program you attend.
It’s a pathway you practice.
A guided space where people can stop, breathe, and connect with Jesus—every single day.

The psalmist writes in Psalm 62, pour out your hearts to Him, for God is our refuge. There is a sense of freedom with being honest. Today, as we take a moment to pause and focus on Jesus, we are going to talk to him honestly. It can be tempting to clean up our prayers, to say what sounds right instead of what's actually true. But God is not looking for polished words. He is inviting your real heart. He already knows your thoughts, your emotions, and your struggles, and he welcomes them. Prayer becomes powerful when it becomes honest, when we stop hiding and start opening up and trusting that He is who he says he is. Thank God that you can come to him honestly and openly. Your fears, frustrations, questions, and hopes. Don't filter your words or hold anything back. Ask him to meet you in that honesty and to bring comfort, clarity, and peace to your heart. Invite him to remind you that you are safe with him. Pause for a moment of reflection. Focus on the truth that you are fully known by God and His love will never wane. Lord, we praise you that your love never fails, never retreats, never condemns. Thank you for being our Father who listened to us and meets us in our pain and our weaknesses and our struggles and our disappointment. Thank you that you are not scared off by our questions, nor do you reprimand our honesty. Thank you for a true loving relationship with you. In our candor, we come back to what we know to be true. You are good, you are faithful, you love us, you are with us. We worship you today, in the very middle of whatever is going on in our life today, and come back to a place of rest and trust in you. Amen.
