In this episode we of course discuss the Year in Baseball 1984 which was the Year of the Tiger(s). It was also the year one of the Geeks embarked on a career in journalism and had the good fortune to cover the Red Sox home opener... which just so happened to be against the Detroit Tigers. Listen in as Rich reminisces about his adventure at Fenway park when he got to rub elbows around the batting cage with the likes of Kirk Gibson, Larry Parrish, Alan Trammel and "Sweet Lou" Whittaker.
