If your child struggles to read, to remember steps of math problems, or can't spell the simplest of words, then you may feel like you are beating your head up against the wall day in and day out. Whether your child is dyslexic, has attention issues, or is just a late bloomer, homeschooling moms often feel like they are either not doing enough or not doing things the right way. It's ok! Your child is ok, and you are ok! Dyslexia is not a deficiency; it is a gift (even though it may not feel like it at times). Kids with dyslexia learn differently, so they need to be taught differently.
