June 27th 1971 the Fillmore East had it's closing night with it's final show! We chat in a roundtable discussion with the former staffers who have all gone on to do great things with their careers in the arts! Our guests are Amalie R. Rothschild who was "the house photographer" at the Fillmore East ! Amalie has a multi-faced background in Graphic Design, Photography, Computer Imaging, Motion Picture and Video production.  Her photographs appeared in The NY Times, Newsweek, Time-Life Books, Life Magazine, The  Village Voice, Rolling Stone and many other publications! She has iconic photos of Jimi Hendrix, Mountain, The Grateful Dead, and many more artists at he Fillmore East and Woodstock!
Other guests that were staffers include Jerry Pompili who was an usher at The Fillmore East and Bill Graham's longest running employee!  Jerry later went onto to work at The Fillmore West and then eventually ran Winterland! He then moved on to work for the Rolling Stones and to discover and sign Eddie Money!
Allan Arkush was another NYU graduate and met and talked with all the bands from the classic rock era! He filmed his NYU thesis film at the Fillmore courtesy of Bill Graham with the help of the crew and Josh White of the Joshua Light Show.  Allan later worked for Joe's Lights at the Fillmore East until the theater closed in 1971. He eventually became a well known movie film director and producer!
