Interview Under Fire

“It's always about the music, that's the whole point of being in a band.” We are joined by frontman Matthew Flood of Caskets. The metalcore quintet from Leeds, UK are back with their sophomore effort, “Reflections,” and have more than lived up to the hype. After dropping their debut record in 2021, Caskets have earned all the well-deserved recognition which saw them garnering over 80 million streams while trekking through the US and Europe. Matthew talks about the band's current journey as well as the early days from where it all started. “Reflections” is an example of the bands growth, personally and musically, and while they have found a balance within the melody and the heavy, Caskets are living proof of expanded musicianship. 5 years in the making, and Matthew has been grateful for every moment leading up to the current success.
