A two sport star in HS and college, Jason Alessi scored the game winning goal for Yale Lacrosse in the 2018 NCAA National Championship Game.  We sat down with him to talk about the grind of college sports, the value of being a two sport athlete, his prep career and his college career.

In college for lacrosse he was Second Team All-Ivy League, NEILA All-Academic Team and the winner of Yale University''s Molly Meyer Award - given annually to male and female senior student-athletes whose character exemplifies selfless devotion along with compassion and concern for their team and the community at Yale and beyond.

For Football at Yale Alessi was named All-Ivy League Honorable Mention, was 3rd on the team in tackles and awarded the LoProto Award -  given to player who best exemplifies Ryan's passion and competitive spirit, skill in the defensive secondary, and devotion to teammates.

For Brother Rice he was a 4 time state champion in lacrosse, a 3 time All-American, a 3 time football state champion and named to the state's Dream Team as a safety, kicker at and kick returner.
