Psalm 145:4 says that one generation shall commend your works to another.
So, are you preparing your legacy? Your life is so much bigger than the right here, right now.
Knowing this should give you a sense of urgency about leaving your legacy.

Welcome to God's Tobs of the Bible. This is part three in the four-part series about my book. Holy Spirit, Unlock the Path Forward. Today we're talking about leaving a legacy. And in Psalm 145, 4, it says that one generation shall commend your works to another. You see, a legacy can be passed on as a faith legacy and in resources that are accumulated for an inheritance. This book was a blessed project, a legacy of my faith. It has given me a way to tell my story and to testify to others for years to come. And it has afforded me an opportunity to witness about the awesomeness of God. For example, this podcast, God's Toolbox, is indeed proof that God works all things together for our good, whether the circumstances are positive or negative. Listen to what I wrote about God's Toolbox in my book. God has a funny way of showing us what is important and exposing the lies we tell ourselves. When the pandemic closed the doors of my church, I told myself that I would start a podcast to present a Bible study lesson once a week, thinking that perhaps a few church members might tune in. A year later, after over 2,000 downloads and listeners from all over the United States, Puerto Rico, France, and Russia, people are still listening to those pandemic episodes. God turned a small, innocent project into a worldwide venture. I may not ever visit those places and witness to those people personally, but God made it possible for me to witness to them through technology without even using advertisements, selling, or marketing. God's Toolbox is now over two years old, with over 5,000 downloads, 114 published episodes, and in addition to the countries that were listed when I wrote the book, the podcast has now been heard in Germany, Mexico, Australia, and South Africa. So are you preparing your legacy? Your life is bigger than the right here, right now. But what we do now, it impacts our family members and also hundreds, maybe thousands of others across many territories that we might not even know. It impacts generations now and many to come. It is so much bigger than you and me. Knowing all this should give you a sense of urgency about leaving your legacy. God bless you.
