Today's
topic
is
God's
blessings.
And
specifically
when
we
ask,
why
not
me,
God?
I
was
reading
my
devotional
and
it
highlighted
Numbers
18,
where
the
Levites
were
set
aside
by
God
to
do
work
differently
from
that
of
the
other
tribes
of
Israel.
In
reading
this
passage,
I
was
reminded
of
four
things
that
we
should
know,
because
we
often
compare
ourselves
to
others
and
resent
how
God
blesses
other
people.
We
even
resent
God
because
we
wonder
why
God
didn't
you
bless
me
that
way?
Or
give
me
those
talents
and
resources
the
ministry,
the
business,
the
house,
the
cars,
the
clothes,
the
money,
the
spouse,
the
children,
the
prestige
and
power.
Why
not
me,
God?
Well
remember
these
four
things.
He
gives
us
according
to
His
will
and
our
abilities
and
capacity
to
perform.
Number
two,
our
blessings
from
God
are
not
a
measurement
of
His
love
for
us.
God
loves
each
of
us
as
much
as
another.
Remember
He
died
for
all
of
us.
Number
three,
our
blessings
and
inheritance
are
tied
to
kingdom
legacy.
It's
not
just
about
us,
but
something
greater
and
bigger,
more
than
just
what
we
see
now.
And
number
four,
our
blessings
come
with
responsibility
and
accountability.
Look
at
Numbers
eighteen
and
one.
The
first
thing
God
tells
Aaron
is
you
and
your
sons
and
your
father's
house
with
you
shall
bear
the
iniquity
related
to
the
sanctuary,
and
you
and
your
sons
with
you
shall
bear
the
iniquity
associated
with
your
priesthood.
Blessings
come
with
accountability
and
responsibility.
Are
you
ready
for
that?
It
comes
with
a
price,
to
whom
much
is
given,
much
is
required.
So
stop
asking
why
don't
I
have
this
talent
or
this
degree?
Why
don't
I
live
in
this
place
and
have
these
connections?
Why
didn't
you
give
me
that
job
of
promotion?
Instead,
wait
on
the
Lord.
Be
of
good
cheer.
Wait,
I
say,
on
the
Lord.
