So what did the angels see at the incarnation of Jesus? They saw the long awaited Messiah, the Anointed One that would overcome the powers of the sinfully persuasive evil dragon. They saw the hope of redemption dawning. A new era of grace was about to begin, where sins could be and would be wiped away by the sacrificial work of the Lamb of God. They could NOT and would NOT contain themselves! They had to sing!

On what were its footings set, or who laid its cornerstone-- while the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy?
