Baffled, befuddled and bewildered, Elijah is suddenly filled with doubt and fear: he is shocked, stunned and staggers unready for the mind that can see the hand of God and still raise the fist to Him. Yes, such evil does exist; it twists and turns causing turmoil every which way. It is inexplicable, unreasonable and unfair because it is purely satanic! After the rain, some will repent and some will waver but the enemy will continue to rage tempting the righteous despair and give up. More than ever, after the rain, we need to remember the goodness of God and listen for the still small voice. This man will be back!
