Palm Sunday is the day we celebrate Jesus' entry into Jerusalem. There is a 'not so subtle' declaration of His proper identity and a gathering of various celebrants but there is no pomp or ceremony. What was called 'Jesus Triumphal Entry' was not triumphal in the least. It was a final showdown with an impromptu parade. Jesus had come with an attitude of surrender and subservience, hardly fitting the King of kings and Judge of the world. Jesus had come to die.
