“Regarding the Spirit of Christ, It was a spirit of undivided consecration to the will of God his Father. It was a spirit urged onward by an absolute necessity to serve God.”

“Religion can not go halves with anything else; it must be all.” Christians were to be wholly consecrated to the Lord regardless of their station or walk of life. Furthermore, he said “Do not think you need to be a minister to dedicate yourself to Christ. Many a man has disgraced a pulpit, and many a man has sanctified an anvil…many a man has consecrated a plough.” Indeed, “We ought in all our business, as well as in our sacred acts, to do all for Christ.”
And so, whatever you do, do it in devotion to Christ and consecration to God.

"Any way you count it up, add it up financially, add it up socially, add it up materially; added up anyway you add it up, God’s business is big business.  The biggest business in which we can be engaged is to win men to Christ, to remake mankind in the image of God.  Children, teenagers, young people, young marrieds, men and women, that’s our business.  God’s business is big business."  W.A. Criswell

What is the good business of God? Has it changed, or is it always about the redemption of mankind and the salvation of the Bride? If the example of the 12 year old Christ was staying on mission, what does it say to us? The Father's business is our mission, our assignment, our calling; our purpose is for going and growing into the good business of God.
