I WANT THE MOUNTAIN

i want the mountain. I want the celebration that comes after years of a desert journey. I want to know what it is like to have Jesus lead every step of the way, to be assured of His presence. I want that holy place where the blessings of the Lord rain down like drops from heaven, the Mount of Olives where Jesus so often fellowshiped with His disciples.

‘We don’t come into this house, any more than Israel traveled to Shechem, to make a new covenant with the Lord on some different terms. We come to renew the old one, the ancient one, the eternal one, the one the Lord made with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and then fulfilled, validated, and guaranteed in the life and work, the death and resurrection of his son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Our faith has been revealed by God, it concerns a work of God, and no human being, therefore, can alter it.”
REV. ROBERT RAYBURN  FAITH PRESBYTERIAN

TEXT; JOSHUA CHAPTER 8:30-35
SONGS; MY HANDS ARE OPEN, BETHEL
I SURRENDER, HILLSONG, OF DIRT AND GRACE
I SURRENDER ALL, HYMN
