THE BANNER OF NAZARETH

Isaiah 11:10 "And in that day there shall be a Root of Jesse, Who shall stand as a banner to the people; For the nations will rally to Him, And His place of rest will be glorious."

Come home! Do you hear it? Are you listening? There is a still small voice that screams at your soul to come take rest in Him; His rest is glorious and endless and has no memory of wrong. The Nazarene is calling His assembly to gather from all walks of life, from all nations of the earth, from all persuasions and philosophies; the church universal is the city who’s builder and maker is God.

The prophets said that he would be called by a despicable title, and it was so,                 for his countrymen called him a Nazarene."
This is a name at which devils tremble, for they besought him, even Jesus of Nazareth, that they should not be sent into the deep when he cast them out.   It was the name which in contempt was nailed above his head upon the cross— “Jesus of Nazareth the king of the Jews.” Oh, but it is a glorious name,!  (C.H.
