10 DAYS INBETWEEN

Conclusion: Ten days in between Christ’s ascension and the pouring out of the Holy Spirit. The apostles were NOT inactive but preparing to receive the necessary supply for their mission. These guys had learned to trust in the Word and to pray: “Dad, you promised! Dad, you promised and we know you keep your promises! So, we are waiting on you until your promise comes!


"Waiting is extremely tough when we are ready to go, ready to move, fire in our bones to get the job done!  Waiting, is not a passive waiting around for something to happen that will allow us to escape our troubles. Waiting does not mean doing nothing. It is not fatalistic resignation. Those who wait are those who work, because they know their work is not in vain. The farmer can wait all summer for his harvest because he has done his work of sowing the seed and watering the plants.
