When you're chatting to Lisa Ronson time flies. The Chief Marketing Officer of Coles has a hugely impressive CV of senior marketing positions across a wide range of industries from Westpac to Telstra to Tourism Australia.

She is highly awarded and in the two years she has been at Coles she has helped transform a bricks and mortar retailer into a digital retailer with a steely focus on both customer and sustainability.

We talked about the challenges of leadership, the courage to be yourself, building trust in a brand and in your people, looking after your team, the current divide between states and a whole bunch more.

She is warm, engaging and does kinda make you feel like you’re the only person in the room. With so many depressing stories around at the moment it was a joy to talk to Lisa, to know there are leaders like her, a deeply passionate and authentic woman who loves what she does.
