Mahrukh Banday, Ph.D., is the current vice president of product and marketing at Curiox, but did you know she also was a surgical neurophysiologist? You might be asking, "How is that possible?"
Banday is a lifelong believer in being able to pursue any career path as long as you're willing to learn. Banday shares her incredible story of leaving India to come to the United States to pursue a Ph.D. in molecular genetics, the nerves of being in the operating room for the first time to dealing with what she refers to as the "What Next?" disease. Mahrukh Banday, Ph.D., is an accomplished life sciences marketing leader with 10+ years of commercial experience. Banday first obtained a DVM from Kerala Veterinary University, KAU followed by an M.S. in microbiology, immunology, & pathology from Punjab Veterinary University and finally a Ph.D. in molecular genetics - genomics at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
