An analytical chemist by training, I started my career in the pharmaceutical industry. My responsibility: speed up medicinal chemists and their efforts in fast synthesis of new leads. Even back then, throughput and automation of structure identification have been critical issues à introduced overnight services and walk-up / OpenAccess offerings for LC-MS analysis
Later, changed sites and joined the Agilent Product Management: not buying and using analytical instrumentation, but developing new products and solutions. Since then, filled different roles. For the last 4 years, my focus as Marketing Director has been on topics around digital transformation and intelligent automation of E2E lab workflows.
