#30 - Jim Johnson - Bike Tours & Building Greenways in Chattanooga

Jim Johnson the owner of Biketours.com and overall bicycle advocate. He has been helping people plan European bike tours for 18 years, that was until Covid-19 hit. His business model came to an abrupt halt and now one year before retirement he is completely reinventing his business by switching from international tours to domestic tours right here in the greater Chattanooga area. We talk about bikes and access and his grand plans to expand the Chattanooga River Walk into a loop joining Camp Jordan with the Chickamauga battlefield into Saint Elmo. Jim is also working on a second trail which would connect Chattanooga to Atlanta’s Silver Comet trail system which he is calling the TAG (Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia.)
