Show Notes

Burnout is a phenomenon that comes up frequently in discussions of practitioner wellbeing - describing a feeling of running out of fuel, and being incapable of doing one's jobs. What is burnout? Why is it so prevalent amongst healthcare practitioners, and how do we combat it as individuals and within a larger system?

To give his thoughts on this topic Practitioner Health is privileged to be talking to Dr Adam Harrison.

Dr Adam Harrison is a GP and barrister, GP appraiser, educator and coach. Adam's main focuses are on his coaching and running the Inspiring Women Leaders' podcast. Adam talks openly about the 2 times he has been burned out and how we can help other healthcare workers.
