Hi, this is meteorologist Steve Pelletier and I'm the weatherman. Thanks for checking into theweathermanpodcom on your Wednesday, 10th day, third of the May, through the month of September 2025. An area of low pressure just along the eastern seaboard looks like it will stay offshore, but the circulation around these systems is counterclockwise. That means a northeast flow across the New York and DC and all the way down to Philadelphia and Boston area will keep us in a little bit of cloud cover, probably within about 50 to 100 miles of the coastline, and that'll be just for today, with the possibility of a sprinkler shower here and there. High pressure currently across western New York State and the eastern Great Lakes will reestablish a foothold in our region during the daytime on Thursday and most likely last right through the weekend. But in the meantime, look for some clouds today and temperatures in the 70 to 75 degree range, with an ever so slight chance of a sprinkler shower that won't last or too long or actually amount to too much accumulation as all, and we're looking at high pressure building into the region. As mentioned for Thursday through the weekend. Highs to around near 80. Looks like Saturday, sunday and even Monday. Friday, saturday and Sunday All looking fair skies 70s to near 80. Daytime, nighttime lows in the 50s, except in the 40s across the Poconos Cascades and up in the Adirondacks where temperatures are starting to get on the cool side. Looks like the fair weather Flint will continue into early next week but the possibility of some showers possibly arriving and the gradient northeast probably sometime either later Sunday or Monday, but for the most part right now just basically dry.

Next five to seven days. If you're traveling today, looks like good weather in Atlanta and Charlotte, also fair conditions down into Houston and Dallas, fort Worth and Chicago. Possibility of a few showers in the UP of Michigan, but it looks like Minneapolis and St Paul justa little bit of cloud cover giving way to a clearing trend and dry weather there. Looks dry in New York City, although there will be some cloud cover, a few sprinkles and showers. Also clouds in the Boston area with a shower or two. La and San Diego looking dry on the west coast, but it looks like rainy weather for San Francisco, portland and Seattle with some flooding and the Pacific Northwest a possibility with some heavy rains. There I'm your host, justin Pelletier, and I am the weatherman. Hope you have a great day today. Talk to you first thing on Thursday. See you then.
