Hi, this is meteorologist Steve Pelletieria. I'm the weatherman. Thanks for checking in to weathermanpodcom on your Saturday. It's the 13th day of the month of September 2025. It looks like some great weather for the Northeast. High pressure is currently building across the eastern Great Lakes, extending down across northwestern Pennsylvania, western New York State and then down to the eastern seaboard right around Virginia and Delmarva. This high pressure cell is going to be around here for the next several days, being reinforced by weak frontal systems working their way down out of central and eastern Canada from time to time.

It looks like we're going to have dry conditions around here, probably right up through the middle to the end of this upcoming week in September. But temperatures for today a little bit warmer than it should be. High should be around 78, 79 degrees. It'll be into the lower 80s for today, about the same, maybe 80 to 85 for Sunday, cooling back just a bit, with a little bit of an easterly flow developing by Monday, tuesday and Wednesday of this upcoming week, but still with generally dry conditions Each day, highs ranging into the upper 70s and lower 80s. Each nighttime temperatures back into the middle 50s. That type of weather probably right up through wednesday and thursday of this upcoming week.

If you're traveling today, it looks like dry weather in atlanta no problems there, in charlotte also and much of virginia, new york, philadelphia and in washington dc fair conditions are expected. So no weather problems to contend with for the airlines. There still looks like scattered showers and thunderstorms in central and south Florida, although from Tampa north and then westward up towards Tallahassee the weather is pretty good at this point Fair weather in Houston and Dallas Looks like some rain in Chicago Still some rain over the central and western Rockies, especially around sections of Utah and Colorado and New Mexico, that area slowly, gradually drifting east, but we don't see any major attempt for that to reach the east or northeast, which has been dry for the last several days. It looks like San Diego, la, san Francisco all looking generally fair for today Also just a little bit of clouds, but generally dry weather for Portland and Seattle as well.
