Hi, this is meteorologist Steve Pelletier and I'm the weatherman. Thanks for checking in to theweathermanpodcom On your Monday. It's the 15th day of the month of September 2025, and a day that's going to show us weather that's been pretty much like it has been across the Northeast Corridor I'm talking about from DC up to the Boston area, including New York City and North Jersey, where we're located, and eastern Pennsylvania as well. Skies today are going to be mostly sunny and temperatures into the upper 70s and lower 80s, with light east winds, fair to partly cloudy at night down to about 55 to 60, and then mostly sunny on Tuesday. Temperatures tomorrow in the middle to upper 70s. There's a chance of some showers, with the weather front arriving on Tuesday night into Wednesday. Wednesday some showers or even a thunderstorm mostly cloudy 74. Wednesday some showers or even a thunderstorm mostly cloudy 74. Wednesday night still some showers here and there down to 61. By Thursday, however, becoming partly sunny, highs back up to near 80. It looks like sunshine and warm weather for Friday of this week Sunshine in the low to middle 80s, so well above normal, but it does cool back, with a dry, cool front moving through Friday night, saturday and Sunday generally sunny in the 70s across the Northeast.

If you're traveling today, if you're flying today and personal or commercial aviation, we see generally fair skies across the Northeast Carter, except for a little area of some showers moving into Virginia Beach, coastal North Carolina and Delmarva. Some of that may extend into the DC and Dulles area but doesn't look like much, just a lot of high cloud cover. Philadelphia and Baltimore looking good, as does New York City, laguardia, jfk and Newark. Boston also low Dry weather as high pressure builds down from upper New York State and eastern Canada and an area of low pressure just off the eastern seaboard will skirt the eastern seaboard, being blocked from moving into the New York area by that high-pressure cell. So that means dry weather expected for a good balance of the week, except for that little area of showers that I mentioned on Wednesday. It's also good in Chicago right now. Atlanta and Charlotte basically doing pretty good. Charlotte just on the edge of some of that shower action. Just a little bit of cloud cover, but nothing that will delay airbound inside and out of the Charlotte area. Central and South Florida a little break from the heavier thunderstorms, although a few isolated showers are likely just offshore. But no problems for aviation flying into there In Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth, chicago all looking good, minneapolis-st Paul a chance of some showers, but nothing major. West Coast looking dry, from San Diego, la, san Francisco all the way up to Portland and Seattle. The rainy weather continues across northern sections of Utah and much of Colorado and Idaho.
