Hi, this is BD Roger, Steve Pelletier and I am the weatherman. Thanks for checking into theweathermanpodcom on your Saturday. It's the 20th day of the month of September 2025. Autumn officially arrives on Monday, the 22nd, probably around the middle of the afternoon. We're looking at generally great weather for the northeast. Actually, the whole eastern seaboard is going to have some pretty fine weather for the next several days. The northeast, though, under the influence of a big area of high pressure across central and eastern Canada that's going to be building southward through New York State and central and western New England into the New York City area. Philadelphia, Baltimore, DC are all going to have some pretty good weather, but it will be on the cooler side in New York City and up in the Boston area when temperatures will be in the 70s both days, Saturday and Sunday. In the meantime, though, the Carolinas and further south along the eastern seaboard, temperatures will be on the warm side in the 80s and generally fair. Watch an area of low pressure that's offshore and looks like it'll stay offshore because of upper level winds steering the currents towards the east and northeast. Away from the eastern seaboard Looks like some showers will be moving into the western Great Lakes in Wisconsin and sections of Minnesota that's associated with a weak area of low pressure that's going to be moving across the Great Lakes over the next several days. In the meantime, though, for most of the northeast corner, look for sunshine today and temperatures in the 70s near 80 degrees. Further south, At night it'll be fair back into the 50s. On Sunday expect sunshine and also temperatures between 70 and 75. Monday's weather is looking pretty nice too, but it warms up for the first day of autumn in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees.

We're flying by airliner today across the nation at Atlanta looking at good weather so no problems in and out of the busiest airport in the world and looking at fair skies in Charlotte and generally down in central and south Florida. Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm all looking pretty good, except for some late day thunderstorms, mainly offshore. Up in the Chicago area it's going to be overcast with some occasional rain and some thunderstorms. Similar situation for Minneapolis and St Paul. Dry and hot. In Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth, no problems weather-wise there, Some early fog giving way to easy sun in LA and San Diego and San Francisco with some clouds, but does look dry up in Seattle and into Portland area for at least today and a portion of Sunday. I'm your host, Steve Pelletier, and I am the weatherman. Hope you have a great day. Today Looks like some excellent weather for this last weekend of summertime. Autumn officially arrives on Monday, the 22nd. Have a great day. Talk to you tomorrow. Take care.
