Hi, this is Midi Roger Steve Pelletier, and I'm the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the WeathermanPod.com on your Tuesday. It's the last day of the 30th day of the month of September, 2025. And while the month has been dry across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast, it's also been just a little bit warmer than normal. Normal highs and normal lows averaging about a half a degree throughout the 30 days of September, including today. It's going to be a little bit above normal. From uh DC up to the Boston area, we are expecting temperatures in the upper 70s and lower 80s. Actually, a little bit drier and a little bit warmer as you head further north. There are some showers from coastal systems across the Carolinas expected for Tuesday and Wednesday. Those storms will eventually drift further offshore. A combination of Umberto, which is a hurricane, and uh Melda, which is also a tropical storm at this point, expected to move off towards the north and east, off the eastern seaboard by Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of this week. In the meantime, we're looking at sunshine after some early clouds today as our temperatures reach the lower 80s, some showers in DC and Baltimore. Looking at uh clouds and sun for tomorrow as well. It's the first day of October, and temperatures will be cooler, 65 to 70, with the weather front moving through. At night, it'll be clear down to the 40s in some of the cooler spots, lower 50s elsewhere. And sunny weather for both Thursday and Friday, both days temperatures in the 60s to the lower 70s. Warms up this weekend, looking at dry conditions both Saturday and Sunday. High rains back into the 70s. We're traveling by air today from airliner across the nation. The two tropical systems off the southeastern coast will keep some rain into Charlotte and also into South Carolina. Also, eastern portions of the Florida Peninsula from Jacksonville all the way down to Daytona and then to West Palm and Miami Fort Lauderdale area. We'll have some scattered showers during the afternoon hours. Looks a little bit drier though, Fort Myers up to Tampa St. Pete and up to Tallahassee. Also looking at fair conditions in Chicago and Minnesota. Minneapolis may have some showers, but clouds and sun. A little bit cooler weather moving in there, and it's moving to the east as well. Use in Dallas will also be fair and dry. Dry weather in LA and San Diego, but rainy weather in San Francisco up to Portland and Seattle over the next 24 to 36 hours. I've been your Roger, Steve Pelletier, and I am the Weatherman. Hope I have a great day today. Talk to your first thing on Wednesday. See you then.
