Hi, this is Midi Roger Steve Pelletier, and I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the WeathermanPot.com on your Wednesday. It is the fifth day of the month of November 2025, and a look at the weather chart shows high pressure mainly across the nation's midsection to the northern plains and also off the southeast coast. But a frontal system working its way out of the Great Lakes will be arriving during the evening hours in the mid-Atlantic tonight. And uh southwest winds will be followed by gusty northwest winds. There's a possibility of some wind gusts up to 50 miles per hour across much of northern Pennsylvania, New York State, and New England, including central and northern New Jersey as well. The winds will be a little bit less, but still quite gusty across West Virginia, Ohio, and the Virginia's down into Carolinas. As uh that frontal system works its way through. There might be a few showers, but most of it's going to be north. The dry weather continues across the nation. It looks like fair conditions for today, but showers possible, especially north tonight. Highs will range into the mid-60s, so a little bit of a warmer day today. And then tonight down to about 40 to 45. And it looks like gusty conditions out of the northwest, with generally fair skies for Thursday, and then on Friday, but Friday night, yet another cold front arrives, and that could bring us some showers, followed by the possibility of uh soaking rain in our vicinity sometime on Saturday and on Sunday of this weekend. That's coming in from the west coast. Uh lots of rainfall expected during the daytime today. Uh, from just north of Los Angeles up to San Francisco, all the way up to Portland and Seattle. That storm working its way across the nation's base section, down to the south, and then re-establishing itself along the eastern seaboard with the possibility of some rains, as mentioned, later Saturday and Sunday. But uh again, there'll be several other systems moving into the Pacific that will augment that. It does dry out a bit as it goes across the continent. In the meantime, if you are flying today, those uh strong winds during the afternoon and this evening will cause delays in the New York area and in Boston and in Cleveland and Chicago is looking pretty good. But the weather is going to be good in the New York, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C. areas. Just those gusty winds causing the delays. Also looking at fair skies in Atlanta, but with light winds, good weather in Charlotte. Uh South Florida, dry. It looks like dry from Tampa all the way down to Fort Myers, across the southern tip of the peninsula into Miami, West Palm, and even up to Daytona. So you're looking at pretty good weather across the Florida peninsula during the daytime today. Houston and Dallas also looking good, although that cold front will be moving through Dallas sometime this evening. Might be some thunderstorms with that. Uh dry weather in San Diego, but cloudy up. Maybe some rains moving in just north of Los Angeles, and rainy weather in San Francisco, Portland, and Seattle, causing some delays in those places because of the heavy weather moving in from Pacific into Pacific Northwest. I'm Eddie Roger, Steve Fellow Tierra. I am the weather man. Hope you have a great day today. Looks like the weather will be good. Windy tonight, and then fair a little bit cooler on Thursday. We'll talk to you first thing tomorrow and update the forecast. See you then.
